This round whiskey stone looks great and feels great in your glass. I use it to chill my whiskey and not have it be watered down with ice. I also really like the weight it gives your glass. The cloth pouch is a great way to keep it cold in your freezer without the stone getting dirty.The one downside is that it does not cool down my drinks that well. To be fair, I do keep my whiskey/scotch at room temperature and then add the stone, so maybe it would be better to add the stone to an already cool drink. In this respect it is inferior to ice but it is not that big of a drawback.I definitely recommend this product since it has very good quality for the price. However, like other whiskey stones, it does not cool down your drinks as much as ice.

Whodda thunk? These stainless steel ice cubes really do keep drinks colder longer. We are remodeling our kitchen, so we don't have our ice maker connected. We use these rocks instead of ice and they work beautifully! I drink only water, so I don't worry about watering down my drinks with ice, but my husband drinks pop and iced tea. For him, these are the best things since flat screen TVs!

These are not supposed to be as cold as ice, nor is scotch supposed to be that cold either. These do a great job cooling scotch without watering it down. My husband uses them with 4 when he is having a glass to himself or splits it between two glasses (two in each glass) when he is having a glass with a friend. I almost bought him the soap stones until I realized they left sediment in the glass every time you used them (gross). These are nice because the still look cool without leaving sediment!!

I got these, along with the Glencairn glass and some Woodford Reserve, and tried my hand at some fancy whisky tasting. They cooled the bourbon down past room temperature and didn't dilute it at all. Comparing this experience side-by-side with the use of ice, I definitely prefer these when I want to appreciate the all of the notes and subtleties that whisky has to offer.All it takes is a quick rinse after use, and the use of them in one whisky does not affect the taste when you use them in another.

Not worth it. Didn’t chill my drink. I put all 4 cubes in after being in the freezer a week. I had to revert to ice. Now I have four shiny paperweights.

Attractive. They come in a very useful bag for easy freezer storage. They hold the cold for one drink, and then need replacing. They will keep something cold, but are not very useful for cooling down (say, a room temp white wine). Pricey, but good

The cubes are much nicer looking than the gray cubes found in most shops, but they do not chill the beverage as well as I had hoped. Ice is still the best solution, but than ice dilutes the whiskey. A trade off to be decided

These whiskey stones are good at bringing room temperature whiskey to a slightly chilled temp without watering it down. My only complaint is that they often have a powdery residue on the outside. Nothing that doesn't rise off easily, though. For the price, they were a great purchase.

Works exactly as described, but can deposit some almost unnoticeable silt in the glass if they're damaged.

Being a novice to whiskey I thought I should move up from ice to rocks and it turns out I was right! These whiskey rocks work wonderfully to keep your drink cold without diluting the taste, definitely recommended for beginners as they aren't particularly expensive and very easy to maintain.

They only keep my drink cold for a few minutes.
