Great Little Grill!
This grill is awesome! It’s small but super powerful—perfect for camping, tailgating, or just quick dinners. Heats up evenly and is easy to clean. It’s super simple to use, and the size makes it great for smaller spaces. It’s new but so far no complaints!

Great little grill.
We downsized to an apartment that has a small porch, and still wanted to be able to grill. This has worked out great. Big enough to grill a lot for two or a single meal for 4. Small enough that it fits on a small end table, and easily stores underneath it or in the kitchen pantry. We use the little camping propane canisters to keep things really small. We don't travel with it, but it would be fantastic as a tailgating grill. It is very light, most of the weight is well spent in the grill racks. I really like the porcelain coated cast iron. On our old charcoal grill (which we miss but do not have room to safely use) we loved the cast iron racks, and I was unsure about what the porcelain coating would be like. Definitely lower maintenance. I like it.This is my first gas grill in a long time, I am more used to charcoal. It does not get super hot, but hot enough. I don't think it would work for some of the open-lid high temp searing that I could do with the charcoal grill, but if I keep the lid closed it works for everything I have asked of it. It can take about 10 minutes to get up to temp.Q1000 vs Q1200We were looking at the Q1000 and Q1200 models, and decided the Q1000 was a better bet for us. The three main differences that I could see were the fold out shelves, slight extra lid height, and thermometer on the Q1200 for $30 extra. I saw the Q1200 in a store and thought the shelves were so flimsy as to just be in the way. I would probably just take them off. The extra height seemed unnecessary, and if anything I thought would waste heat. And the thermometer..... well I really don't know what to think of thermometers that come on cheap grills. So we saved the $30 getting the Q1000, and then for $16 I bought the "Bayou Classic Grill Thermometer"https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003VEG5SS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1Bigger, much easier to read, and well reviewed. Plus, I was able to mount it down low closer to the grill surface. With a cordless drill it took 10 minutes to install. Drill a hole bolt it on... that simple. Testing it in boiling water is was within 2 degrees of accurate.

Great Little Grill!
I've always been a died-in-the-wool charcoal guy, but my apartment complex recently prohibited charcoal grills, so I sold my little Webber kettle and bought this. I was more than a little concerned because several others who wrote reviews said they couldn't get a proper sear or good outer crust. I also wanted some way to get that smokey taste.Well, as you can see from the pix, I wasn't disappointed. After reading the instructions (yes, I know - who ever does that??) I learned that they key to proper grilling is to pre-heat the unit on high for 10-15 minutes, and my first effort turned out great!Since then, I have added two little "puck-like" wood chip holders (Steven Raichlen Signature Series on Amazon) which I light with a propane torch and place on the grill where the heat from cooking keeps the chips smoldering nicely which imparts just the right amount of extra flavor. So far, in addition to steaks, I've done chicken quarters (medium heat setting), ribs (low setting until the very end, then a quick shot of high), a brisket (seared, then low setting) and thick pork chops, all with the wood smoke, and all delicious.Yes, this little gem is not cheap, but it reflects Webber quality throughout, and I couldn't be happier!

favorite bbq grill
bought this to replace the same model that has been used for well over a decade. Easy to cook on and control. Good choice for small orders. (fits 8 burger patties) Fully mobile and easy to store on a shelf.

Whipper grill never disappoints!
It's the perfect size for my small deck. The temperature control is amazing! I'm not the best at barbecuing, but this grill makes it easy. Everything I make tastes wonderful! The flame is perfect. The quality is superb.

Great little grill
When our big, 3-burner gas grill finally bit the dust last fall, my wife and I decided to abandon the gas grill scenario for our small Weber charcoal grill. As an older couple, we don't grill a lot anymore and thought this would work. Well, we both love our little charcoal grill but occasionally would like a quick meal outside without the wait for the time-consuming charcoal to be ready. Having had Weber products in the past and having always been well pleased, we gave this a good once over and decided to give it a try. A little pricey but you get what you pay for. Well built, easy to use, reasonably easy to clean, not fancy but does what it's supposed to do -- grill food! Being a Weber we expected something good and I think we got it!

Best BBQ I Have Owned
After reading many reviews I decided on the Weber Q1000. I wanted portability so I could take it in our RV, we are using it as our home BBQ normally. For 2 people it is just the right size, as long as you pre-warm it for 15 minutes you good good even heat on the entire grill. I find it has enough heat for everything we have cooked while not too much that can cause flame problems. The grill is coated cast iron I am using oil to get it "seasoned" like cast iron pans. You get perfect sear marks without hot spots, and the compact size assures good high cooking temperatures under the domed lid. Did I say I love this new BBQ? Cleaning is another pet peeve, and this Weber could not be easier to keep clean between meals. So far I have cooked Spatchcock Chicken (Wow), kabobs, steaks and burgers, it all cooks perfectly.

Crazy Nice
I love this grill. Table top convenient. Big enough for a pork roast or baby back ribs. You can get the heat you need because of the great design and u-shaped gas feeder tube. Easy to put together. You MUST BUY the hose add-on before you can use.
