This turned out amazing! The roll of film looks plain when you first open the package, but don't worry, you just have to peel off the protective film over it. There are some reviews complaining that this window film doesn't shine with the rainbows, but I wonder if they didn't try taking it out of the box and removing the protective covers...? I have no complaints. You can still see shapes through the film, so it's not completely obscuring. I used soapy water to spray down my already clean windows, applied the film I had cut to size, then used a squeegee to push out the bubbles under the film. Easy to install, and easy to adjust if need be.

I put this beautiful window film on my daughter's room window for an added layer of privacy. I wanted something to let the light in and give her some privacy. The beautiful colors look great and change like a kaleidoscope throughout the day as the sun changes position. Its iridescent colors are so pretty. I recommend cutting it a little before application to make the process easier. You can use Windex or the specific window film spray to adhere to your window. Make sure to really saturate the window.

Wanted to still have natural light, but also have that deep seeded fear that when I look out a window there will be someone looking back at me on the other side. So, we ordered this and 10/10. I did it solo since it wasn't a big window, but it for sure would help to have a second pair of hands. Get a spray bottle, box cutter, and something to scrap out the air bubbles (a credit card or ID will work). I recommend using water mixed with a bit of dish soap because it helps it cling and stay better in my experience. And don't forget to take off the backing, if it looks frosted you have the backing still on! I have a little left over and I'm honestly going to put it on my pc case for some extra aesthetic.

I put this up by myself in about 15 min. I have few wrinkles and bubbles to figure out, but I swear only I can see them. I needed a little privacy on this side of the patio, but I didn’t want to block light. It’s SO sparkly and prismatic. The pictures don’t capture it, remotely. I wish it was cheaper because I’d do all of the windows in my classroom, if I could. Looks great. And easy and forgiving to install.

We only intended to cover a small window and given the beauty and magic that this film gives off, we decided to cover even more windows with it and buy another roll. The rainbows that come into our place when the sun or other exterior light hit the windows is magnificent. I’m very happy with this purchase and would recommend to anyone looking to add some privacy and beauty to their home.

I have a street facing bedroom and alway kept blinds closed. This product turned my room in to a beautiful sunny room. Prisms of light have transformed the room into a place i love to spend my time . I have changed it from a bedroom to my sitting room. Its so pretty. People cant see in, i can keep blinds open. Super easy to install. I used to kit suggested for easy application.

Our apartment has an odd floor-plan and our master bathroom is totally exposed and surrounded by windows! I ordered these to see if they would allow us to get more sunlight. I was skeptical of how well it would work since it looks so clear without the backing, however…The cling is very static and holds nicely to the window. You can unstick and replace several times to get the right fit (I am impatient but it remained static even after 5-6 adjustments.) It allows a lot of sunlight in and has a nice rainbow effect. It definitely cannot block everything inside, but the pattern obscures light so that you can’t recognize the inside from the outside.A few recommendations: clean down the window with a little bit of water to remove dirt, and don’t pull too hard lest you stretch out the cling.Overall, it looks great on my windows and gives us a little more privacy. It’s a great bang for your buck, especially compared to other brands that I’ve tried and rejected. I’ve included pictures of what it looks like from the inside, and also from the outside! These windows face east AND west.

At first I was like there is no way this could be as cool as it seems (based on reviews) however.. it really is amazing. It elevated two rooms in our house the little one loves the rainbows and now I can have more peace knowing there's more privacy in her room. I am definitely buying more.
