This is my first time using Mum & You products. I'm in my second trimester and am starting to feel quite saggy in lots of places as my body changes so I wanted to get this gel to see if it would help with firming areas as my body adapts. So far I'm quite impressed.Pros:- Lovely cooling gel that feels so nice on the skin. It's really refreshing and a little goes a long way, but it feels so nice to massage in and is a lovely relief for any bloating or discomfort on your tummy- Natural ingredients chosen for skin preservation and evenness with some lovely oils to compliment them- Smells really nice and fresh, the cucumber seed oil really dominates the scent- Seems to help skin feel firmer initially as it's so cooling however not sure it is tightening long term yet - I've only used it for a few weeks so time will tell (using it as advised twice a day, morning and night and massaging in circles)- Really nice packaging - the box it comes in and the jar itself are well thought out and would make a wonderful gift, there's a lot of cute wording and the design is lovely- Can be used anywhere on the body from the neck down - I'm also using it on my thighs alsoCons:- Fairly expensive but you do get a very good amountSo far during my pregnancy I've only used things like shea butter or specific stretch mark reduction creams but hadn't thought of tightening gels. This one gets great points for the fact that it does seem to firm up the skin initially, and also it feels so nice on and is lovely to massage into skin. It smells divine and the ingredients are quality - the only reason it doesn't get full marks is the fact it is a bit more expensive and I've not had long-lasting results as of yet. But if you're looking for a refreshing gel with an initial tightening feeling, this is ideal and is perfect to cool a gassy tummy down.

I'm always sceptical of these kinds of products that offer results from simply using a lotion or potion, i've rarely seen them do what they claim. This one isn't much different. I've been using it a few days now, twice daily as directed in circular motions on any bits that need some attention (for my own self confidence i am not posting my wobbly bits), so far no noticeable firming really, my skin looks hydrated but it would do after any cream/gel/butter really, especially twice a day.Positives-The packaging is lovely, it can all be recycled including the pot. No plastic packaging at all even from the delivery packaging.I like the positive message on the inside, it is a nice touch.Hydration wise this works really well for the skin, it can be used all over the body too.Suitable for sensitive skinVeganNatural sourcesMidwife approved (though i'm not sure what that really means!)Not tested on animalsUK madeNegatives-I don't like the smell, it is very peppery and not too pleasant! That may be my taste but if you are not a fan of spicy/peppery smells i would avoid this.The gel feels very greasy and doesn't absorb well, particularly in areas like my breasts (they were greasy after a few hours and felt a bit icky) and inner thighs.No noticeable firming or toning.Price £25.99, if i had paid that i would be a little annoyed that it wasn't working wonders on my wobbly parts!Over all this is quite over priced for a peppery smelling hydration gel, because that is all it really is, fantastic for hydrating your skin and having a little pamper! But the smell and price really put me off, as did the greasy after feel and lack of any real result.3 stars for the eco friendly packaging, vegan and natural source ingredients, mum focused and mum run UK business.

This tub came in attractive packaging. There is quite a bit in the glass tub.It smells a bit like cucumber.This has an oily texture to it and doesn’t wash off easily with just water. Perfect for after a bath, just before bed or pamper session.Suitable from the neck down too which means it’s not only for the tummy!My wife thought it did help and made her skin feel tighter!Pls click helpful if this review helped you.Thanks for reading!

I got offered the opportunity to try this tummy time gel out so jumped at the chance. My little girl is now 19 months but I’m still really not happy with my stomach, despite loosing the weight my skin in that area is saggy/ wobbly and has lots of stretch marks. I’ve been looking into different options like laser/ fat transfer etc but thought it wouldn’t hurt to give this a go to see if it could help. Firstly using the product was nice, it has a fairly strong smell of cucumber and it’s a nice thick gel texture. It doesn’t dry very quickly but that doesn’t bother me, I just give it a minute or too then put my clothes on and forget about it. Now results wise I’m going to sound mad and maybe I’m just wishful thinking but using it in conjunction with their tiger stripes gel I actually feel like I’m already noticing a difference and it’s only been 3 days. I don’t see how it can work that quickly so maybe I’m imagining it. Have taken before pictures and will try to update this review once I’ve finished the tub to say how much difference it actually made. Overall at the point though I’m seriously impressed! Also love the fact the packaging is all recyclable and that what they wrote about that on the packet was a nice touch. Can’t wait to see some more results!

I think it does what it's supposed to be doing (I only hope long-term) but it definitely left me aghast after the very first use. It produces silk effect and if you touch your skin with wet hand after application you can tell there is nothing noticeably sitting on your skin just producing the effect. So far I am deeply impressed and will keep using it. It has a rather pleasant smell, nothibg outstanding, but also nothing long-lasting, so it's a plus. It has a jelly-like texture, very transparent and, though quite liquid in reality, it stays in wobbly peaks. It's very easy and even to apply. Thumbs up from me.
