Really useful for bigger spiders and keeps them at arms length. Doesn’t really work on small spiders- but I’m happy to catch those in a glass. Used it last night to catch a spider on the ceiling. Recommend.

This simple spider catcher works very well, most spider caught survive

So many times the spider has escaped upon the intial grasp , possibly because the awkward angle.Once the positioning is spot on , the spider will be secure in its grasp & outside it goes to find a new home.The item was delivered where it became loose , wouldnt grasp at all , it needed to firmly clicking into position where it locked in place. Value for money , I think its expensive & not as sturdy, being plastic ,but a good piece of essential kit for the home .It's a fun sport

This worked a treat until 10 months later when the glue holding the trap thing itself failed and now it is just useless. Such a shame. Expected it to last at least double or triple that!

At first the handle seemed too short, but after a few attempts, it's so easy and does not feel like you're too close the spider! No more worrying about how to get rid of them or feeling guilty after murdering one!

Works well. Catches spiders without harming them. 3yr old grandson is able to use it!!

Arrived in pieces. Managed to get the bottom section (with the bristles) connected together again, but the bristles do not close fully at the open end, so they'll never keep a spider caught in a million years. Cannot get handle back together again so the handle and the spring don't work properly. Biggest pile of rubbish I've ever bought on Amazon. I bought this because my current catcher, which is over 10 years old, has damaged bristles. This was a replacement, but is worse than the one I am trying to replace. This has gone straight into the bin because it arrived broken, cheap and flimsy, and is totally not fit for purpose. And it is not worth my time, energy, and money, to return it. Won't be buying anything from this source again.

I’m petrified of spiders, can’t help it , have tried everything over the years to get over it. My son bought me this as a joke…I am so confident with it, I can pick up any spider with it and take it outdoors, I can get them off of doors and walls..it’s amazing I’d not have gone within 10ft of one before. It’s very gentle but it really does hold them until you let it go outside. I can’t believe how this has changed my life…I bought another 2, one for upstairs and another for the son! who is also scared of them and he too is now much more confident with them.Brilliant piece of kit.
