If you need something powerful, glass cupping sets are recommended. They are personally too strong for me and leave bruises.These cups are more gentle and are good for strained/injured muscles. Use body oil, apply the cup and slide it back and forth. Sore muscles will feel better, and heal faster (from my experience).

In all fairness, I haven’t tried other types of cups. My pt recommended these because she thought the shape would be easier to use on one’s self and she was right. They also hold a good suction if you’re careful when moving them around. You can use light or heavy suction. The price was so right that I decided to try and I’m glad I did. Not sure if I am receiving any pain relief yet but wanted to try and loosen some tight fascia.

These cups work great and hold suction well. I’ve had amazing relief in my upper back muscles with these. No bruising unless I leave them in one spot for awhile, which I occasionally do when my muscles are really sore.

I have been using Chinese cups for about 8 years now, and these silicone cups are my favorite! I have bought for myself and family. Great for travel or to fit in a purse, and even great to keep at your bedside. I can easily use these at night when I feel my shoulders are tight and helps me go to sleep. Great for cupping and sliding (can use in the shower) or stationary. Also works better than plastic cups on smaller areas around the neck/collar bone where other cups don't stick well and the silicone forms better suction. Definitely recommend these!

I injured my knee and PT used these on me when we needed to loosen those smaller muscles. They hurt so good but the relief is worth the pain - similar to the pain/relief of using a foam roller. I bought these and use them whenever my knee or smaller acts up. My husband even started using them. Highly recommend.

In all the good ways. I'm undecided on whether or not this kind of therapy is actually helpful but that's not what this review is over. These things do their job and they do it well.
