LUMP CHARCL HICKRY 20LB

I did not like that the bag arrived with 3 small holes in it causing the outside of the bag and the inside of the box it was in to be covered in charcoal dust. There were few large pieces of charcoal over 4 to 5 inches and there were too many small pieces that just fell through the charcoal basket. Additionally, it sparked like a 4th of July sparkler when a torch was used to lite the starter cubes. It burned ok, smelled fine but had more ash than other brands of charcoal I have used. I won't be buying more of this brand for the above reasons.

Most charcoal is pretty dusty, but the B&B brand is very clean. I've been very pleased with this product.

I love this charcoal, great smoke, lasts a long time. The BB charlogs are also the best!

I don’t typically write reviews but being relatively new to using a smoker the key to success is maintaining heat control. Having used different charcoal and inconsistent temperatures I found this one made the job easier and is now my go to for smoking.

Burns very well and has nice hickory smell.
