Since mandibular involvement is such a common symptom of an oral myofunctional disorder, the clients are first given exercises to “dissociate” or separate mandibular from lingual movements. The 2-Way Mouth Prop is a reusable stabilization tool. 2-Way Mouth Props (2WMP) can be oriented as needed for each client. 2-Way Mouth Props have also demonstrated to be a useful tool to train singers to open their mouths wide during stabilization exercises. Package of five props.

I like this product alot
I like this product alot. When my tmj flares, I'll pop one in and just let my jaw rest while I read or watch tv. I wish my dentist used these because I cannot keep my mouth open for dental exams.

Don't bother.
Came in a package which was a clear plastic bag with a piece of paper with print on it. The guards were dirty and smelled like grease or something was on them. Also they has tons of irregular spots on them where extra plastic/rubber needed to be trimmed. Bad product. I wouldn't repurchase.

I have serious tmj problems and mandible misalignment. I use these to pop in and give my jaw rest and loosen the muscles that tighten to try and correct. My dentist uses a similar because i can't hold my mouth open.
