Perfect Coat!
I am 5ft 1inch and 120 lbs and I ordered a size small in woman's and it fits on the bigger side of perfect so I am able to fit a long sleeve and hoodie/sweatshirt under it comfortably if needed. I'm so happy with this coat and absolutely recommend! It's also lightweight yet warm and the fit is phenomenal and it's not bulky I couldn't have asked for a better fit or a better coat in general and the color is a really nice blue I wore it to work yesterday and I could not feel the wind through the coat so it has good wind resistance. And the fabric itself feels really durable And I do think it has a good value for the cost

Great winter barn jacket
This jacket is tough and super warm. A single beefy layer underneath has kept me toasty in single digit weather. We have 30+ horses and this thing has been chewed, drooled on, covered in hay and sprayed with mud and tractor grease. Handles occasional washing, (pro tip- use dryer sparingly and line dry to increase longevity) and fits nicely over my insulated bibs. Blocks driving wind pretty well. Like all carhart’s, the color fades with every wash, and it gets more buttery too.Only drawback is that it’s heavy (duh, it’s canvas) and it will make your shoulders roll in a touch after hours of wear. I’m in between the small and medium, and the medium won out for better shoulder mobility (built like a swimmer).Low key regret not investing in one sooner, it’s great not to be smothered in 8000 layers just to stay warm.

Great coat!!! 4’11” 120-124 lbs
I have a smaller upper body frame, with a 34DD chest. I first ordered the small. It was way to big I tried it on with 2 sweatshirts and jeans. I could still grab more than a fist full of jacket and the arms tan long. I returned the small and ordered the extra small. The fit was great just like on the model, with plenty of room for layers. I love the inside pockets, one with a zipper, so no need for a purse. The other pocket has Velcro which I will remove so it doesn’t damage my clothes, its opening is horizontal so I can just sew in a string tie it replace the Velcro on the one side. Construction is great! Front closure zipper is metal, heavy duty. Great jacket fully lined and toasty warm. The hood has a drawstring and fits nicely. The outer pockets are great to warm your hands. I bought the navy. It has a slightly distressed look, which is in trend. Can’t wait to style it with jeans a knit cap and my timberland boots!!! Hats off to Carhart!!!

cute style and super warm
I originally bought a small at the local Carhartt store, but it ended up being too big. No one around had an XS, but trusty Amazon had one available. It took several weeks to come, but it didn't disappoint. This jacket is thick and sturdy. Talk about warmth, too! It has been SO cold these last few weeks and my core was so warm, I started sweating! This jacket definitely did its job in keeping me warm.I like this brown color as it tended to go with most of the things I usually wear and the fit is quite flattering! I love the style!

Love this sturdy coat
I wanted an outdoor jacket that was tough enough for farm and garden work. This coat nailed it! It fits great and it’s super sturdy. I’m 5’3, 120 pound and the extra small fit perfect with room to spare

Very warm
I bought this for work since we do a lot of gas pipe outside in the winter. I am 5’2 and 135 lbs and I bought a medium. It does cover my butt and the arms aren’t too long. It is loose on me so that I’m able to wear layers under it. It keeps me very warm and isn’t super heavy or bulky. I am able to do the job that needs to be done without the jacket getting in my way. The front pockets are deep, but the openings are too long allowing whatever is in them to easily fall out. The inside pockets are nice though. One zips and the other velcro’s. The only other downfall is that the material attracts lint, so you’ll need a lint roller.

Comfy! Best fitting coat I have ever had!
Since sizing seems to have a lot of discussion, I thought I would share my fit. I am 5'2-1/2" 245lb. Size 22 fits close but I wear size 24 in dresses/business slacks or for things I want to be loose and flowy. My figure is proportionate meaning I wear the same general size on top and bottom with a bit larger chest than average (40DDD). I have a long-ish torso in comparison to my legs. I am almost always a 3X to fit my chest but I purchased a 2X based on reviews. The jacket fits perfectly! I have never had a coat fit me better! I can zip fully and I feel like I could wear a sweater beneath but wearing snow bibs in addition to a sweater might be pushing it across my middle - not my chest and shoulders. I think if size 22 jeans are slightly big on you, and you want to be able to layer snow gear, a 2X will be a perfect fit across the tummy area. I seriously have never worn a jacket that fits me in a more flattering way.I can't get over how the shoulders fit! This jacket fits my chest without being too wide across the top of my shoulder but is large enough across the back to have full range of motion. My arm length is average to short and if I let the sleeves fall past my hands at my sides, my finger tips hit at the beginning of the knit cuff so I have plenty of reach and I can easily tuck my hands into the sleeves during our cold MN winters. It is super warm without all the fluff. I would be comfortable down to 15 degrees F but I would have to layer if I was outside for colder temperatures or for more than an hour. This is jacket length for me - meaning it covers about 3 inches past my leg crease in the front and 80% of my backside. The back is slightly longer than the front but doesn't look that way when it is worn. Pockets are very generous for phones and keys and are comfortably placed. I feel like I will wear this for a very long time because it is very well-made. I can't believe this doesn't cost more.
