My dogs enjoy the outdoors. I was forever filling up water dishes. Not anymore! They love it! I was worried they may knock it over (3 over 100 pounds) but it is very sturdy!

I did have it leak because the hose connection didn't fit right. It would be nice if it also had a connection to a 1/4 fridge water line, but I was able to get fittings and make it work. It did leak so I had to seal it better. I also pulled the cover off and lowered the water level so the dogs didn't splash so much. It's been amazing as it's hard for me to get up once I'm down there.

I have 3 huskies who like at stay outside majority of the day. I bought this water bowl because they kept dumping over their bowl or would drink it all. They haven’t dumped this water bowl over because they can’t get a good drip on the side and because it self fills, they can’t paw it over either. I love that they have water on demand all the time while outside. This was the best purchase I’ve bought! I’d buy it a million times over, too.I also love that the company reached out a week after I purchased it to ensure that it wasn’t damaged during shipment, everything is set up and working, and I was happy with the purchase. It’s an added level of service that will make me buy more of their products in the future.

First there is no way to connect it to a hose so I bought a female to female hose to try to make it work. Then hooked it up and it leaked like a sieve. Cheap materials and bad design. I kept trying to make it work and by the time I realized it was useless, the return window had passed. I ended up throwing it in the trash. Amazon has a great return policy but I wish they would not sell such garbage in the first place. The lesson I learned is to unbox right away and make sure product is satisfactory. Unfortunately, I bought this for an upcoming vacation and didn't unbox and test it until it was too late.

This is replacing my last watering bowl of 10 yrs. I love the big bowl. Works as stated and shuts water off when full. I use a short hose from spicket to bowl and they don't include the connector. Bowl connection is like end of hose. Company knows this, why not include it?Also as reviews state, this connection spot to hose leaks. I used all the tape and washers supplied and still leaks. I need to get better washer. All this is not hard to fix, just and added pain. Other than that, my Dogs have water 24/7 here in Arizona!

Perfect product and great price

So these are made for a hose or faucet but I wanted to connect it to under the sink. Had to find some adapters and used a shower hose but now I never have to worry about my dogs and cats being out of water! I had a huge water jug bowl before and with hip issues it was getting to hard to fill and carry then flip over into the bowl. This I don't have to do anything but clean it when needed.

So, this works fine but I would definitely suggest buying your own metal hardware for it. The plastic fixtures it comes with are pretty bad. Also mine came with the floater installed upside down so I had to fix it myself before it would work. Oh it also leaks so I had to wrap it up in thread tape. Overall it works now after a lot of extra effort that was probably just not worth it.

I hooked up the dish to the water line for the fridge I added a quick connect for cleaning. This works great the only issue is after cleaning the float sticks 😒 hench the towel. Once the float is unstuck no issues. I have three babies and no issue keeping up with water supply.

Connected to a hose via a standard fitting and voila, it works. There is not much to see or maintain in this unit. I guess after a few months of algae growth the problem with cleaning of the internals will arise, but at the moment the minimalist design with no access to the mechanism is exactly what doctor has ordered.
