Ritchey Superlogic Carbon 1 Bolt Seatpost

Superb product, incredibly strong and light, works with Specialized 7x9 carbon rail saddles when used with adapter kit

Seatpost is very rigid and durable not to mention super lightweight. Very easy to adjust as well. No complaints so far and I would definitely recommend this seatpost to other buyers.

How light is too light? See following ...Clamping with the seat rails works well at the given torque on this carbon version - but only if you have round rails not oval etc. (note the WCS Alloy 1 bolt one version I found was poor at clamping, needing 14 not 12nM - it must be as it is alloy and not carbon).Seriously flawed in integrity. Following the guidelines, which DO NOT have a specified torque clamping for the seat clamp against the seatpost, only to try and twist as you apply torque. My purchase cracked while riding, at only 4nM torque on the seatclamp and Ritchey didn't want to know.Inside the tube, the carbon lay up had delaminated with a square shaped peel.Ritchey have had these problems with quality before with carbon - check out their website with recalls.
