Amazing product!
Amazing product!!! It is constructed really well. The head seems to be made of solid brass which prevents the threads from damage if dropped on a solid surface. It even has a protective cap for the same purpose. The control knob works smoothly. The order was on time, packaged well, offered at a fair price and good looking! Overall "MUCH BETTER THAN EXPECTED". Thank you! Now back to gardening! (-:

Flow IS restricted, not large water holes as claimed.
I will be returning this item.I do like the larger handle for turning water on/off, and the unit seems well made.HOWEVER: A major claim in the details is false. Details claim “Large Water Holes: 2 times larger than standard size.” This is false. While the first inner rim does seem larger at about ½”, there is another inner core with a much smaller diameter, about ¼”. I do not have a caliper, so I used common objects to approximate. A standard pencil with a ¼” diameter fits snuggly through the inner hole, but a slightly larger pen with less than a 3/8” diameter does not fit at all. One of the reasons I purchased this item was its claim of larger water holes as I wanted unrestricted water flow. I also purchased a brass quick-connect fitting that does indeed have that 1/2'” diameter, and the pencil fits with lots of room to spare. But If I add this valve, the flow is then restricted, which defeats the purpose of larger diameter hoses, brass fittings, etc. I also checked to see if it was a removable part, a washer or something that I could take out to restore the higher flow. But it is part of the design and cannot be removed. This item is fine if your primary purpose is the large turning handles and if you don’t mind the usual flow restriction, very common with hose accessories. But if you are looking for higher flow and are drawn to the claim of “large water holes,” look elsewhere.

Poor quality
One of these will not seal at the swivel. Not a good product. Stay away from this one.

VERY disappointed
Let me start by stating that I'm an active outdoor homeowner and gardener. I use at least one hose every single day during most of the year (it was 96 here today), and I have three. I have a very simple standard to which I hold my equipment: It has to work, every time, all the time. I have no time or patience for poor quality equipment, because when equipment fails, it costs time and effort to repair now and replace later. And it usually fails when I'm in the middle of some project that I want to get done on a deadline. Faulty hose equipment also costs even more money and wastes water. I prefer to spend my money once, for quality, sturdy merchandise.I have to say that I really liked this until it broke. I've had it less than one season (a little over 60 days), and it just plain broke. Initially it felt very hefty and sturdy, and today I was spraying fertilizer on the back yard when it simply snapped. I was stunned. Now that it's in two pieces, I can see that the main body of the valve is metal (the green and black part). When you look at the hose threads on the orange part, they are made of metal. However the piece that held the orange threaded section to the green/black body is made of plastic. Cheap, weak plastic where you can't see it until it fails. Oh...and the window to return it to the seller ended just under two weeks ago.I'm glad that I did not write a rave review that I would have had to retract. In my opinion this is not Tuff, Outback or otherwise.

Large comfortable handle with good valve, average flow
One can get a good grip around this product, and the valve is smooth and easy to open/close. Note the lumen size is not any larger than most, so the "extra large" refers to the body not the flow. I've some 3/4 inch valves on 1" water pipes, and that'll get you a major flow (think one step down from pressure washing) but for most applications these are fine.

Could not be more perfect.
Excellent design and top quality implementation of that design. Been looking a long time for a long-handled valve for a garden hose connection. Easy for my wife and I (who suffer from a little arthritis) to move the valve. Thanks for the product.

Great Value!
I'm using this to provide two things. A cut-off valve and full flow of water to move away sediment after power washing my driveway. Works great, feels good, doesn't leak while it is off, and a great value. Instead of walking back and forth to turn off the water, I just switch inputs (with another product) and use the leader hose I attached to his to move the sediment away.

I really wanted to like these, they are so dern purty
I really wanted to like these, they are so dern purty. I bought two, and both have a slow drip emanating from the base of the handle. If you aren't living in a drought area like I am, maybe it doesn't matter, but I hate stuff that leaks, even if slowly. You can cut the drip to almost nothing by tightening the phillips screw at the center of the handle to the max, but that's not good for the longevity of the screw or threads, and you can't stop the drip altogether anyway, at least with the two I have. The problem is lack of a softer interface between the base of the handle and the body. It's very tough plastic, and not quite malleable enough to make a stable seal against drips.
