I am so pleased with this book. Not only are the recipes great but the commentary throughout put me right at the Mauro dinner table or in their backyard. Loved it and will be purchasing from his online store.

I recently brought this book and have made many of the recipes. So far, so good! I have been watching “The Kitchen” for years and have watched Jeff Mauro mature as a chef and entertainer. This book is well done with easy to follow recipes, photographs of the recipes, tips, & funny stories ! Today I made the Greek Taco for lunch. It was full of flavor and the recipe was well written. I loved the “Aunt Jae’s Double Dressed Creamy Garlic Garden Salad”. It was to die for and I will make it again. The Classic Chicago Chicken Vesuvio is yummy! I have made it twice and will again. I go to Chicago often and have never seen it on a menu but I am so glad it’s in this book. It has all the flavors I crave - lemon, herbs, garlic, wine, chicken, peas and potatoes. The Italian Beef was very good. The Detroit Pizza is good for company. I have a large collection of cookbooks and appreciate books that provide dishes that are interesting and enjoyable and this one has that and more. It comes from the heart ❤️!

This book is a plethora of delicious recipes! I have been a fan of Jeff’s from back when he was on the next Food Network chef contest. (I later learned from a friend that he was the chef at Guaranteed Rate in Chicago and took leave from there to be on the show, which he won!). I watched his Sandwich King show, I watch him on The Kitchen and I have a bunch of his recipes. His meatloaf is a staple of mine. I also, just this year, dry brined my turkey for 24-hours and I will never cook turkey any other way again.Buy this book and enjoy the recipes!

Jeff did a fantastic job creating a cookbook with great family recipes and the stories are laugh out loud fun. Just what I expected after watching him on The Kitchen. I have already made several of the recipes and they have turned out great. Finally a celebrity cookbook that we can all enjoy.

This book read like a novel, Once I started reading it I just could not put it down. :) it is filled with amazing recipes and great pics of all the wonderful food that I can't wait to make!! I enjoyed learning more about Jeff and his family😊 My husband and I love watching him on the Kitchen. He is so funny and has a true God given gift making people laugh while making some great food for us all! The title ( Come On Over ) could not suit him better, I can see him saying that to all his friends and family. Which my husband and I would say Yes, yes we will be right over! Lol 😉 I truly thank you for using your God given talent and sharing your yummy looking recipes and blessing us with getting to know you and your beautiful wife and your sweet looking son.😇😇 thank you again and we will wait patiently for your next cook book with more wonderful recipes and more funny stories of you and your whole family! With all your relatives I just know that your home would be the place where we would want to COME ON OVER TO!!!! 😘

I am not familiar with the author / chef of this book but I have to say it’s one of my favorite cookbooks and I have over a hundred. I love all his family stories and the history behind the recipes … I’ve made several of the recipes and they are great and everything looks amazing. I’m particularly intrigued by the double dressing salad , can’t wait to make it and the pizzas this summer in my pizza oven at my beach house. I highly recommend this cookbook.

I love this cookbook so much!! It is full of the best recipes ever, and a hilarious story to go with each one. I received it yesterday and just finished reading the last page- cover to cover in one day! We already made the “ reverse sear” ribeye for Easter( I saw Jeff do it on The Kitchen- ) it was MAGNIFICENT! I lived in Chicago for years so I loved the Chicago food stories and the Mauro Family- OMG! Who wouldn’t want to be a member of that family? Crazy and adorable!!— I love them all!!!! I collect cook books but I have to say.... I think this is already my favorite- and to think that you did it during the pandemic - that’s just nuts! Thanks Jeff- I’ll keep laughing at you on The Kitchen while I work my way through every scrumptious dish in this book ❤️
