I'm at the age and in a business where I frequently run across people who are suddenly in the overwhelming position of caring for a family member.  This book is exactly the "hug" they need to let them know they are not alone.   While there is a self-help book for so many facets of our lives these days, Debra and Kelly have beautifully addressed this underserved niche.  Their practical and caring advice comes from not only research and expertise, but from personal experience.   I'm keeping several copies on hand to give to any caregiver who needs it to feed their soul and get through tough days.

A beautiful book - visually and spiritually. Every chapter has something I could incorporate into my life, whether it was practical advice (like the use of music with my loved one) or personal comfort (your inner thought life and dialogue matter). A wonderful and thoughtful book that I feel everyone can benefit from :)

I purchased this book as a gift for a friend who has recently become her husband’s caregiver. The peace she feels when reading this book has helped her state of mind. The prayers within each chapter have resonated with her. Reciting the authors’ summarization of The Daily Decalogue has also given her a positive mantra to live by.
