Possible baker now.
I liked the compactness of the mixer & was amazed at number of assessories that came with it.

Not good as food processor
Food processor part broke on the first use due to fault in the architecture of the component. I was sent a replacement and absolutely the same issue happened to it.Great a a mixer thought

Does it all
The media could not be loaded. This really is a great machine and literally does it all with prepping for cakes, mixing, mincing and the likes. However it is a bit shaky which is a little off putting as it almost seems like it’s about to run off of the kitchen side but so far it’s not done that! It doesn’t feel as solid and heavy as some mixers and almost feels a bit fragile. It’s a nice little compact machine though.

A fantastic kitchen aid
It is a fantastic stand mixer with plenty of attachments to use in the kitchen. It makes baking and cooking so much fun. It is very easy to use, and the parts are easy to clean.

Excellent machine
Product is really good to make desserts, baking and making cakes. Easy to use, instructions are clear. A great bargain considering what there is on the market.

Mixing
So far so good, not had much cause to use much so far but everything fits and works. Quieter than our 30 year old moulinex one.

Worst Kenwood ever
I have used/owned a Kenwood chef for mist of my life. I bought this one on the grounds of its small footprint, to try to minimise the amount of things we had to store in our kitchen - stand mixer, food processor etc. From that point of view it succeeds. The mixer is fairly compact, the processor, blender and other attachments fit in a small box and I have nearly half a drawer more space. It is light enough to lift in and out easily but that is as far as the good points go. It is quite plasticky - hence why it is light. It lacks power, both for the mixer and using the food processor attachment and probably has only a fraction of the output of my previous machines. I tried chopping some dates and gave up, cutting them by hand instead. It even struggled to chop breadcrumbs. However, the biggest bugbear is the mixer - it sprays almost as much food out of the bowl as it does mix. There is a slot for the splash guard to fit over the bowl through which any dried goods in the bowl shoot out when mixing, covering the machine and the worktop. Initially I thought I had assembled it wrong and tried again, with much the same result. My husband had an even worse time (he is a bigger Kenwood fan than me). If you want a lightweight, compact Kenwood mixer with lots of attachments, this would probably do. If you want a food mixer that works, keeps your cake mixes in the bowl and will also process food, this is not what you are looking for. By the time we discovered all the flaws, I was too late to return it.
