Overall, I have found this device very useful, it is quite simple to use and very easy to store away when not in use.This machine works well, is quick and comfortable during operation. Its non-invasive, so you simply slip on the cuff, arm strap, into the correct position and you start the machine. The cuff is made well =, using good martials. Great device to allow you to monitor your BP from home. Having read a few things on-line, before deciding to buy a BP machines for home use, you need to follow some simple best practices to ensure accuracy, which can easily be obtained with this machine when used correctly. The best practices are simple, but suggest speaking to a doctor to ensure you don't have specific needs for your health.Best practices I have found online:- Wait 30 minutes after eating or using caffeine, alcohol, or tobacco products.- Go to the bathroom and empty your bladder.- Rest for 3 to 5 minutes and do not talk.- Sit in a comfortable position, with your legs and ankles uncrossed and your back supported.- Elevate your left arm to the level of your heart. Place it on a table or desk and sit still.- Wrap the cuff around the upper part of your bare arm. The cuff should be smooth and snug. There should be enough room for you to slip one fingertip under the cuff.- Check the placement of the cuff. The bottom edge of it should be 1 inch above the crease of your elbow. guidance is written on the cuff.I like that this machine has a large clear blood pressure reading display. Inflation and deflation of the cuff is automatic. Digital monitors are good for hearing-impaired patients, since there is no need to listen to your heartbeat through the stethoscope.Everyone is different, but as a rough guide:- Normal blood pressure is 120/80 or lower.- High blood pressure is 140/90 or higher.If blood pressure is between 120/80 and 140/90, you may have something called prehypertension. This may mean you could be at risk for high blood pressure.*If you have diabetes or kidney disease, high blood pressure ranges may be lower than for other people. Or, if you are older than 65, goal blood pressure may be higher. Talk to your doctor about what is considered high blood pressure for you.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I got this as a Christmas present for my Dad and now he annoys all visitors by telling them he is going to test their blood pressure as he has been told by his GP that he must regularly check his own.He used to have an older fashioned set which had stopped being very accurate so I got him this instead.It comes well packaged and is comfy to use. Nice clean colours and comes with instructions.He couldn't be happier!

This neat little machine is quite a bit smaller than my previous models yet still does a great job.Everything seems to be well made, no problem to assemble, simple to set up, and the instructions are easy to understand and follow. The pump is quite quiet and the LED screen, though not the biggest, is full of information and easily read. Two individual users can store up to 99 readings each.Over a couple of weeks the readings proved to be fairly consistent with my older machine (which I only replaced because the cuff was beginning to look a bit tired) and those take at my doctors surgery.It takes four AA batteries (which are not supplied) but my favourite feature is that it can be powered by a micro USB lead instead.

I suffer from high blood pressure and like to keep it under control. My old monitor was beginning to act up so took the plunge and bought this. Very impressed lots of xtras .I like the way it analysis your reading and tells you if its high medium or low ,Also the usb post is a great idea .Another little thing i like the battery chart lets you know when battery weak . Compared the reading with my old machine and gave the same reading ,so really pleased with it .The arm band is also far more robust than my old one Comes with a pouch which again is another extra Highly recommended and great value for money

Does exactly what it says on the box but it's not a particularly intuitive machine. You'll have to read the manual to do anything other than take a measurement or scramble for a bit like I did. The measurements seem accurate although I haven't conducted a proper test.PS they give you a code in the box to redeem a prize online which is what prompted me to leave the review but hasn't influenced my review as far as I'm aware

So recently I have been told I need to take care of my health. I have always thought this will be useful but never been pushed to buy one.With this it’s quite easy to use, like what you do at the doctors.You strap it on arm then turn it onIt gets tight around your arm then starts to provide numbers on the screen with a reading.Not too expensive compared to the one in local shop which was £35

I have checked and compared this machine with my doctor's machine to check its accuracy and it's really perfect. Very easy to use. The best thing I liked is, this is USB operated. No need to worry about batteries. If you want to use wireless, we can use batteries too. Very much impressed. I purchased this as I am suffering from high blood pressure during pregnancy. So just wanted to keep an eye on my blood pressure. Great purchase. I definitely recommend this product.

I bought this product after being prescribed beta-blockers for my chronic migraines.Due to the pandemic and only being able to "see" my GP via email, they, unfortunately, were unable to check my blood pressure before prescribing these, so I was on the lookout for a cheap product I can use to check it myself as although I am only 26, my low blood pressure has been commented on in the past.This was perfect, not too expensive, and did the job perfectly.Turns out, it is too low to use those tablets so I am very grateful!
