Tastes a bit like cardboard but not so bad.

I was excited to try this bar. It was higher in protein and lower in carbs than most protein bars. I bought the peanut one.IT TASTES TERRIBLE!Like cardboard flavored lightly with peanut shells and sawdust. It is just gross and barely has a peanut flavor. It’s also really dry in comparison to a lot of the other protein bars. If you can take it, more power to you. I won’t even drop this off at the food bank. It’s going in my compost.

The bar is very moist and creamy, not hard and tasteless like a lot of bars. I cut the bar in half and use mid-morning and mid-afternoon and it's a perfect snack. This gives me 10g protein and 10g fiber both times. I will be repurchasing these bars for sure! 5 star product! 🌟

I first ordered the chocolate brownie. Let's just say that those are an acquired taste. I got the peanut butter and first bite was like, "Wow! This tastes like a Payday!" Chew, chew, chew, hits back of tongue, swallow. Nope, it sure does not taste like a Payday, but I still like it better than the chocolate brownie. The consistency is okay, much like one would expect from a product of this nature. I eat one for lunch daily as I walk. It fills me up and satisfies that little need of sugar taste. I will order these again over the chocolate brownie. I will try the blueberry next. You can't beat it for the ingredients and convenience.

Not too chewy but extremely sticky and hard to swallow, it sticks to every corner in your mouth, between your teeth, and even your throat. In terms of flavor it tastes like unsweetened chocolate powder.

High cost and lack of taste compared to similar bars are the reason for my rating.

I typically focus on real, whole foods but I’ve had a hard time getting in enough protein and fiber. These bars have helped me on days when I’m busy and need something quick. They don’t spike your blood sugar like other bars do and these bars will hold me over until dinner time. If you don’t like “gooey” protein bars or you typically reach for bars that are sweet, you may not enjoy these bars. I love them, they do the trick for me!

From reading other reviews.....I think people miss the mark on how good this product is. To be able to have 20 grams of fiber and protein and not taste too chalky or make you want to gag....this is outstanding product! I don't eat these and expect it to taste like a damn chewy bar. The only thing I will say is maybe the price is a tad high but in my eyes it's worth it! Blueberry to me is the best flavor!
