I love the box. But it doesn't fit an L7 kicker unless you have the means to cut the hole bigger. Which I did. After that it works great.

My L7 15’s do not fit the openings and holes are not cut big enough I am going to have to cut them myself

Ok so I've thought long and hard about this sub box. i will give a very thorough review for anyone trying to get great sound while saving a buck . mainly i purchased this box due to the fact that i need some trunk space in my 05 escalade for tools and such. now this box being cheap isn't a bad thing either. so FIRST off you WILL have to modify the square holes for your 15" L7 subs to drop right in. depending on how handy you are this could be a deal breaker or just another quick job. for me it was a quick job so i didn't deduct for that. SECONDLY the paintable inserts i just chunked them in the trash. at first i thought they were cool but trust me they aren't practical at all and once you put the sub in it will be covered so much that you won't really notice them anyway. THIRD and almost most importantly you need to stuff the box. i used an old full size blanket and cut it in half. the boxes are separate also. trust me don't go without stuffing the box or it won't sound great like you want. now i had a problem with one of my subs metal surround coming loose. now it actually holds the subs rubber surround in place. so what i actually did was super glue it back on and i used 2" drywall screws with washers to hold the subs in place so there is no chance of that happening again.i rated this 5 start because despite of the things i had to do with the box i am very satisfied because the sound is excellent. if you do all these things this box will be perfect in the aspect that you can save, money, space, and get hard hitting bass . now from a bigger box you can get a little more sound but its not worth the space that you would have to give up to get a little more sound. because lets be honest if you wanted a custom box or wanted to spend the money on one you wouldn't be looking on amazon. remember to connect your subs to the proper impedance before turning on. i listened to this box stuffer and unstuffed and trust me you wont want to leave it unstuffed. stuffing the box actually tricks the subs to thinking the box is bigger than it actually is because the sound waves take longer to get back to the sub.F.Y.I. once you order this box its yours. you can send it back but you will have to pay the shipping so once you order it , its yours. please if you need any help email me for assistance. Had a 10 inch kicker L7 fit in the box perfectly and sounds great no rattle just clean hard bass

Nothing compares to Kicker square subs L3 L5 L7 and most recent Q Class subs. ( ONLY IF) installed in proper enclosure. Im looking forward to the results of SPL readings comparing sealed vs ported.I plan to try a few techniques to apply on the inside of the box improve To help with resonance and make the box more solid.From experience I can tell I was right in choosing this box from HiFi Sound connection.I will update in a month or so with another review after I install this and use it for awhile.

I was skeptical cause I seen it only had 3 cubic feet per sub and that's the bare minimum for l7s. But after about 15 mins of driving listening to EDM I was dizzy when I got out of my car from the pressure on my ears from the bass. I was worried too that it wouldn't get real low, but my car literally rumbles at low bass notes. Definitely worth the money, especially since it is so hard to find a box for l7s.

My L7 Qseries solobarics did not fit, cut outs were an 1/8" off all the way around, had to cut the box and face plates so they would fit. Box arrived with one corner covered in extra glue over carpet and other corner had no carpet, luckily both corners were on the back of box where they wont be seen. Last box I ordered like this for my round 10 subs was prestine and perfect, a lil let down by this one but it's to much a hassel to return so i just modified it and it will suffice for now
