Beautiful
I hadn’t ordered anything from Jaques of London before. I was really pleasantly surprised at the packaging and quality. It arrived in a card box wrapped with a ribbon, and as you can see, wrapped in a thinner tissue paper also. It was beautifully presented, ideal for a gift. My child is doing ks1 which includes some basic awareness of fractions and also things like being able to rotate a quarter clockwise. These are ideal for demonstrating rotation. I also like the idea that you can show a whole is a half abs two quarters etc. A lovely piece of equipment to help demonstrate various bits of maths.

Lovely learning opportunity
Great addition to our Montessori Sensorial shelf, the children love it and it is easier to carry than the fraction skittles. It was much to reasonably priced for what you get - It was beautifully packages with a special handwritten message - great personal touch.

Lovely product well made
Well made product and very helpful for teaching fractions. Only annoying thing is one of the 1/2 fractions is printed upside down which looks a bit strange!

Simple and effective
Simple and effective way to help 3.5 year old understand splitting things into pieces (we’ll save the term fractionS for when he is a little older!). I chatted about Half for him and half for me. And if we had little sister in the mix and there were three of us, one third for each of us. Translating ‘quarter’ and four took some time but the numbers on the pieces helped explain one 4th. Anyway we found it helpful and it’s particularly landed the concept of splitting something in half which is what I wanted to start helping teach the time. My two year old however just likes putting them all back in to fit but thinks that the 1 whole one is broken because it doesn’t come apart!! Nice chunky quality and surprisingly nicely presented

Just what I wanted
This product is ideal for learning resources, great for my 4 year old boy and great for me as a trainee teacher. The packaging was gorgeous! The box it was in was wrapped with ribbon and sealed, could make a lovely gift. Colours on the wooden circles are vibrant and clearly marked for kids.
