High quality strip lights
The media could not be loaded. We have all Hue lights in our house and love the ecosystem, so adding these strip lights under our floating TV stand was a natural choice. They pair seamlessly with our existing setup, and we use the Hue Sync Box to control the lights, syncing them with whatever is on the TV when we watch movies. These strip lights add a lot to the overall ambiance and make the viewing experience more immersive. The lights were easy to set up and pair with the rest of our system, and I also found them simple to cut down to the desired size. The length is great for most applications, providing enough coverage for our needs. However, there are a few downsides. When running at full brightness, the strip lights can get a little warm, which can cause the adhesive on the back to become gummy. Over time, this can make the lights detach from where they’re stuck. Also, the price is quite high for what they are. While I understand it's a premium product, I feel the cost is a bit steep.Despite these minor issues, I’m overall very happy with them and have several of these strip lights throughout the house. They integrate perfectly into the Hue ecosystem and truly enhance the lighting in our home.

Incredibly bright. But needs better adhesive
Pros .Out of the box plug and play, this this is easy to set up . If you don’t not have the hue hub make sure to down load the Bluetooth version of the app. This thing is crazy bright and super easy to use from the app . Found my self not even turning on my main lights . Does not get hot even to the touchNot for the consThe adhesive sucks honestly I ended up going to Home Depot and got a 3/4 Velcro and using that to stick it to the tv and have had zero issues.

I love this product, BUT
I've bought thousands of dollars worth of Hue products. They're great. The problem is, about 50% of the items I receive from Amazon are obviously used. Sometimes it's just some missing packaging, but other times it's more annoying: the adhesive is missing, a few LEDs are dead, or it's missing parts. Do yourself a favor and buy these straight from Philips. The Amazon inventory seems to be half returned and damaged.

good but Philips needs to start paying attention to it's competitors
I really like Hue lights, they work great with my zigbee network and have none of the issues I have with other zigbee products. I'm using these with a Conbee 2 stick and home assistant. They pair up almost instantly, never have dropout issues, and I rarely have any problems with them. Every now and then I'll have to send a command twice, but not enough were I have to build duplicate commands in to my automations in home assistant. That being said for the first time ever I'm taking a star off of a Hue product. The reason being that while Hue lights are great, and have very good color reproduction, other companies are catching up. In a vacuum the price is worth it, but once you start taking a look around the smart light ecosystem the price starts to not be worth it. Govee makes just as good/better wifi light strips, and Govee is much brighter. That's just one example, there are plenty more out there.I have just about one hue light per room of my house, so I'm invested in the brand. However in the coming years I'm going to start shopping around. Philips needs to make some improvements to the light strips, and not focus so much on how to sell customer data through the Hue Hub.**in regards to the hue hub, don't use it, it's not good and won't work without an internet connection, which is ridiculous

Directions could use some work
The product is phenomenal and well worth the purchase. The lightstrip was detected by the Hue app and my Smart Hub, but I lights wouldn't light up even though the Hue app said that they were on. I had unfortunately plugged the lightstrip backwards into its power supply. The plug easily inserts backwards and this caused some initial frustration. Philips could fix this problem by making the plug function either way like a USB type C. A great product that I would highly recommend as it is completely hidden on the trim inside my closet but still does an awesome job at lighting everything.

Expensive but worth it
Philips Hue is worth the money. Govee/Lifx are good alternatives but they just don't have as good of color accuracy. If you plan to bend these, say around a pegboard, buy the litcessory v4 connectors. Cut at the ✂️ marking and attach.

Build quality of these strips is abysmal compared to the rest of the Hue line.
I have a few of the newer outdoor Hue strips and they are amazing but these are a disaster. The build quality makes them worth maybe 5 bucks. I love the effect and my house is all Hues but these are junk. When you are entrenched in the ecosystem you end up having to use them but they still suck.Issues:- I have a bunch of these and there are different problems with almost every single one. On all of them the power cord starts to come out of the white hue box on its own and then any little touch to the cord turns off the lights. You would think they could handle a 12v cord plug but they haven't figured that out yet.- The adhesive back on my latest strip is not able to stick to the hue strip at all. I tried a heady duty double sided tape with no luck. Then tried the more permanent double sided foam and wouldn't stick to the hue. I'm currently using a bunch of clear packing tape to hold it to the bottom of my kitchen cabinet. Love paying $80 for that.- I had to return the last one due to one fourth of the white leds not working. If I squeezed the last white led really hard then all of them would light up. Would have needed to remove the outer sleeve and resolder the last led to get it working right. Another great $80 value.- I'm using hot glue on one strip to hold the connector into the end of the hue strip and packing tape on another. Two of my strips would not work without doing this.- The cable that connects the extensions does not clamp on and disconnects super easily. They have been a supe pain in the but.
