These are surprisingly handy. The magnet is REALLY strong, but the hook is a nice small size. I thought I needed a couple and was reluctant to pay for five, but I'm using all five now and could probably use more. I use the route cords on the back of a metal aquarium stand and to hand aprons and tools on the side of my shop bench.

No problems on hanging heavy key rings

Just came back from a cruise using these and they worked great! They are extremely strong and held my lge. handbag, robes, towels etc. The reviews talked about getting them apart or releasing them from the walls of the ship's cabin. I did not have a problem, I figured it out how to get them apart as soon as I took them out of the box. Be sure you slide them and then lift because it would take gorilla strength to get them apart without sliding them. I totally recommend them for cruising, it was nice to have the extra place to hang things.

Works good

These hooks worked very well on our latest cruise. The only drawback was they do not hold 100 pounds. I did find them sliding down the wall holding only a rain coat and binoculars. We did find these hooks to provide the extra hanging space needed in your typical small ship cabin. As previously noted, be careful not to get your fingers between them as they will snap together very quickly. Consider these handy hooks for your next cruise or just in the kitchen .
