I love the tips, they have a nice point. The needles themselves are very fast and have a nice weight to them. Love all of my Chiagoo needles!

I already own ChiaoGoo circulars (5" and 6" Interchangeable complete set of all available sizes), and I recently ventured by purchasing Knitters Pride Ginger series...gosh I really hated those as they made my hands hurt so much and needles caught the yarn and it was very hard to knit with, not to mention it was flimsy making cracking noise (I was afraid they would break and I saw some photos of broken DPNs in some reviews...) So instead I bought this and other of DPNs in sizes I often use from ChiaoGoo. I LOVE them. I shouldn't have bought Knitters Pride DPN set which was also costly for the price (they're so flimsy...). These on the other hand, really nice, smooth, and yarn glides like butter!! So much easier to knit, and it was like a night and day. My hands no longer hurt with these! Shipping was though a bit costly as I selected faster shipping option (I was in hurry to make mittens and hats, and I really needed these), but they shipped all of them quickly (I bought many sizes and a sock set also) and they all arrived safely without damage. I love these. Best DPNs in stainless steel on the market. They're not as light as wood but not heavy either as inside is follow, unlike those aluminum ones you may see on Wal-mart etc. Thee are the best stainless on the market! And I used so many of them! Highly recommend.

Nice points, smooth finish and the stitches fly. I knit a LOT and ChiaGoo is my go to brand for knitting needles.

These needles are great, the yarn slides easily and the tips are sharp enough so it is easy to complete stitches.

Perfect for sock knitting. So slick and smooth with the right amount of point! Just ordered two more sets. Now have 20 DPN's in size two. So easy to lose one when sock knitting on the go. Seems faster at seven rows an hour with my new go-to needles!Update September 2017: I now have four sets! Have three socks out of three different yarns for three different people on my beloved needles. When I am knitting the gussets I use 6 needles for each sock: two on the ribbed top of the foot, one on the heel one on each gusset and one doing the knitting. I finished my first pair of socks December 2016. The three socks on my needles are numbers ten, eleven and twelve.I absolutely love my ChiaoGoo Red Double point 6-inch knitting needles and I am back on Amazon today to order two more sets. That will be 6 set of five each or 30 needles.

I'm just beginning to figure out double pointed needles and sock making. These needles didn't snap like the first dpn's I tried, which were wood/bamboo (basically long tooth picks)! I tend to knit tightly & when frustrated, even more so. These are perfect!!

I needed a pair of these DPNs to make a sock pattern. I’ve had quite a bit of experience with DPNs before, so I was mostly worried about how slippery the metal would be. I’ve heard amazing things about ChiaoGoo needles from many other knitters, but I was also wary about the points on these being too sharp. I have a set of their bamboo DPNs and I hate them because the points are very sharp. These have a more blunt end, and they don’t hurt my fingers as I’m working up my socks. They are a little slippery, but once I have the first few rows in and my tension evens out they work just fine and stay in place, just like most other DPNs I’ve used. If you’ve used DPNs before and like using metal needles, these are perfect for you.

I love chiaogoo. They are made, smooth, lightweight, and perfect for lace, socks, or arms creation. They do not grip yarn like some wooden double points do, which is lovely when you are trying to slide a grippy woolen yarn over.
