Works as good as a $1500 unit.
I have a lot of experience with rusty and frozen fasteners in automotive and other repairs. It is a fantastic tool when you don't want to use a torch, either for safety or not damaging surrounding surfaces or finishes. We had one at I shop i worked at and it was nearly $1500. I got this one for home and it works just as well. If you're careful with the wires the insulation will last a long time, but it is easy to bump the wire against the literally red hot metal and burn the insulation. Its not a replacement for torches but I go for this first if I can.

The effectiveness surprised and delighted me
This works wonderfully to heat things without needing torches.

Works but does get overheat quickly
I've had this for a while now and used it a fiar amount. It definitely does work, and usually gets the nuts hot in under 30-45s. I have noticed, during summer months mostly, it will overheat fast and need a good bit of time to cool back down before the safety let's it turn back on. This is primarily with the large coils. The sheathing on the coils unsurprisingly doesn't last long but it still works without the sheathing so thats good. All in all not a bad purchase especially if you catch it on sale but since I don't know how it would compare with the more expensive varieties thats not much of an opinion. If it breaks in the future I would probably just upgrade but this is good for a variety of uses on small stuff for someone who doesn't have access or storage for torches

Broke after 10 months
I bought this March 2021 & it broke in January. Didn’t even last 10 months. I liked the product up until it broke. I would like to exchange this broken unit for a replacement. Thanks.

Well made Inductor, effective for removal of rusted or frozen fasteners.
I've had this a little more than a year now. Easy setup, simple straight forward instructions. It works very well. Overheat protections work well. It would be nice if it heated a little longer before protection circuit kicks in but its reasonable time. On heavily rusted fasteners you will have to heat them up a few cycles for them to release. Large bolts and nuts definitely require multiple cycles. No matter the brand almost all of these come from the same factory in China but that's not really a problem. Treat them with reasonable care and they will serve your needs nicely. If your old and have shaky hands, you will go through coils unless you learn to stabilize the unit. I recommend this unit to anyone who doesn't feel confident to use a torch.

It works pretty well.
It works pretty well for the value. It definitely heats metal as advertised. And it has a built in breaker.
