Very nice set

I had never painted with acrylic paints before. I bought the basic 12 paint tubes and a pack of canvas boards and began to paint. I was amazed by how well the colors blend and how easy it was to turn out a picture that I am proud of. My nieces came over to see my first attempt at art. They were impressed with the colors and gave me some pointers to help with my next project. These paints are smooth when you want them to be, and created nice texture on the canvas as well. As for customer service, this company had great communication with me, and seems genuinely to want my feedback. I chose this set because it is non toxic. I would recommend these paints to anyone who wants to learn to use acrylic paints. As I improve with my art, I will buy from this company again.

Not the best quality but good for beginners

So in this set you get 10 colors and black and whitePros°°°°°•price point- you get all these colors for under 15$•the Cobalt blue is sooo pretty•hookers green, lemon yellow, raw umber, Cobalt blue, Vermillion and crimson red are all very opque on the first coat•they glaze BEAUTIFULLYCons°°°°°°• the tubes are small- 12ml• the virdian and ultramarine blue have a gel like texture and even after 3 coats is not fully opque (it's not horrible but a little annoying)• lifting - I have never in my life experienced acrylics being lifted from applying another coat but the virdian and ultramarine have a small bit of thatOver all°°°°°° They're fine, not artist grade and I imagine you wouldn't have enough paint for a large painting in this set but if you're like me and paint relatively small and not professionally I'd say buy them

Grandchildren loved these paints. They sure have come in handy during the cold wintry days. Sometimes, I can not get them to stop painting. Tremendous purchase.

I'm new to acrylic paint and the Castle 12ml Acrylic paint tubes 12pc set is the perfect starter set. As other reviewers have pointed out, the tubes are small but that's all I needed to get started. The tubes are nicely stored in the tray. The paints mixed beautifully together and I liked how they blended with water to create thinner consistency when desired. The colors are rich and beautiful with a lovely sheen. Overall, the set is a great value for the money.

Nothing to dislike

This is nice acrylic paint. I use in my art journals, I don't need top of the line artist quality paints, that being said these are very nice, rich color. As with any set, I have a few favorite colors that I use and most of them I don't use. These are small tubes and I ran out of my favorite colors pretty quickly. I looked for single larger tubes, but they do not offer. There is a larger set but again I use only four or five colors. I ended up having to go to Dick Blick to buy larger tubes of the colors but I would have supported this seller if they had what I wanted.

This set provides such beautiful colours and the quality of the is spectacular. I highly recommend.

These Acrylic paints are good quality but not too expensive for beginners, with good variety of colours, the paints cover the paper really well, the drying time takes no longer than any other brand of paints. All in all these are a great set of paints for beginners.
