This product was very cute and much bigger than expected. My miniature dachshund loved it at first sight. The squeakers make different noises, so she was delighted as the range of squeakie tones produced by this toy. Unfortunately, she is quite an aggressive chewer and had the toy completely disassembled and shredded in less than an hour. I expected it to last at least a whole day, so I was sad to see she had gotten all four squeakers out of the toy within 45 minutes. The major qualm I have with the toy is the fuzzy fibers the main body is made out of. When my dog destroyed the toy, the fine little fuzzes got everywhere, it was as if the toy exploded leaving purple and green fuzz all over the area. All in all, it was a glorious hour of fun for my dog, but I think I'll still with toys that are a little easier to clean up after being eviscerated.

We have a super chewer. He's half German shepherd, half golden retriever. Just turned 1. Based on other reviews, I knew this would not be strong enough to withstand his chewing. However, it has slowed him down and made him work harder to shred. After a week of play, he has only chewed off two legs and removed one squeaker (the whole reason he chewed a leg off in the first place).This lizard is great as a dog toy. No stuffing!!! The squeakers are not obnoxiously high pitched, and they are easy enough for the dog to squeak on their own without too much effort. There was no odor to it, and the edges were all sealed well so there are no corners that could hurt the dog. For a normal dog, this toy could probably stand the test of time. It is very durable. We have played tug-o-war with it and no ripping. Our dog LOVES this lizard toy! We will be getting more for him since they stand up better to his chewing than anything else. It is not chew-proof for the super chewers, but it's also tougher than most other fabric toys.

My Jack Russell Terrier is an incredibly aggressive chewer! Average stuffed toys I have bought she will go through in five-ten minutes with fluff every where! These last about a month for her and no fluff to pick up. This would be the perfect toy for her if they made it without the squeaker since that's what she's chewing to get at and get rid of, lol! Just a side note, I've read a ton of reviews trying to find a toy that would work for her and I've also had dogs that toys would last YEARS... no need to rate poorly because a toy didn't last, just because it is advertised for aggressive chewers... EVERY DOG IS DIFFERENT. Sometimes it just takes time and unfortunately money to find the one that works for yours. It's all part of the blessing of having a dog in your life. Glad I found what work for my furkid!

My dog loves this toy so much that after she spent the last two months destroying her first one, we bought her a second. The soft outside is not remotely close to indestructible, and my carpet has been covered in what we refer to as "gecko bits" for weeks (the rumba isn't good at picking them up, though a regular vacuum is), but again, my dog LOVES this toy. The four squeakers are great, and the inner layer is pretty strong, though she was able to get through the seams and pop a couple squeakers out, necessitating the purchase of the second toy.Bottom line: awesome toy, just be prepared to buy a new one semi-frequently

I have purchased several dog toys that claim to be for dogs that are rough on toys or chew through them fast but my very active young beagle chews them up within a couple days! When I saw this type of toy in a store I thought I would give it a try but ordered it from Amazon because I liked the lizard design better than the choices in the store I went to. This has been my dogs favorite toy since it arrive and she plays with it more than any other toy, and she is so rough with it but it’s still in like-new shape! I may never buy another brand of dog toy because I am so impressed with the quality of this product!

I have a black lab that loves to chew his toys into a million pieces and these toys are a lifesaver! He has 3-4 of these toys, simply because I could not narrow it down to Which animal shapes that I wanted to get for him. He absolutely loves these toys. This toy has four squeakers in it and he loves to run around chewing it and squeaking it while throwing it in the air. They hold up so well with everything he puts them through and they are a great toy for the price so I definitely recommend them to anyone with a dog who choose through every other toy that you get him.

The overall rating is 5 stars because it did bring longer than normal enjoyment for my dog. 4 stars for chew proof and durability because she did chew through it but it did take longer than most. I would not commend it for teething, teething-specific toys are made for that. Like with all toys I was reluctant to purchase it for my purple nose Pitt. The squeakers didn't have a chance. Not saying they didn't hold up but rather saying they were dismantled within 4 hours. I have to say that is 3 1/2 hours longer than the average toy. She absolutely loves this thing minus its squeakers. Those have become their own separate toy that she also loves. Just not together. She chewed off one of the front legs to remove the squeakers. SO it's definitely not chew proof. But she did have a blast doing it. As I stated, it did take longer than normal to get the leg off. Now that it is squeakerless she hasn't chewed anymore of it up. She just proudly carries it around showing off her victory.

I have a German Shepherd and a German Shepherd mix (in photo). They are aggressive chewers and make it their goal to get to the inside of any toy, whether just to pull out the stuffing or to get to the squeaker. While it is inevitable that once I buy something it won’t get destroyed, these are THE BEST TOYS TO BUY. The material is durable, even once chewed through, takes them forever to disfigure the toy 🤣. It’s less clean up, and no stuffing which is good news for this dog mom. Love the company and love these toys!

Our dog loves to nibble his toys. He’s only a small terrier type but every soft toy he gets he finds the weakness and goes for it until he’s got the stuffing flying everywhere. I bought this hoping it would defeat him. He loves it and it became his favourite quite quickly. However, even the double stitching on the seems was no match for him. Within two weeks he had found a way into the stuffing and had pulled out the crispy plastic. I came down to him chewing on this plastic which isn’t ideal and is actually a little dangerous. He has had a couple of job soft toys last way way longer than this. Shame, because he really loved it while he had it

Don't buy this if you have a chewer!! The old style was much much better as you could cut off bits as they got chewed, i.e. individual legs, tail, head as there was stitching at the body between these and the squeakers. My dog absolutely loves these toys but they don't last long. He chews all the black edging off, in quite a short space of time and out come the squeakers. We have to watch him very closely and cut bits off as he goes along and luckily any bits he does chew off he spits out. He now only gets one of these very very rarely, and the same goes for the snakes. Pity, a change in design that does not work.

Our Beagle received this for her sixth birthday and adores it! The colours are exactly as pictured and it's soft both sides but well-stitched.Our girl no longer tears her toys apart but when she did, we stuck solely to Outward Hound ToughSeamz, worth every penny if you want to show your dog not everything is destructible!

This arrived today. I, very stupidly, didn't realise that I had ordered one from U.S.A. so it took weeks to come.It is a great little thing though. My puppy loves it. He gets all 4 squeaks in his mouth and it sounds like a troupe of penguins lol. I have no idea how long it is going to last but, truthfully, I don't care. You cant buy a toy for a dog and think it cant be destroyed. As long as your dog loves it for as long as it lasts then that's fine with me. Its given the dog lots of enjoyment. My pup has been playing with it for a couple of days now and there is nothing loose or fraying. That isn't bad for him cos he usually can take things apart within a couple of hours. So overall, yeah, I am pleased with this

our dog loves it and it is standing up to his ''attentions'' far better than other toys we have had. The squeakers are long lasting and are still in tact and in situ after over a week ( a record as some toys we have had have only lasted a few minutes!). The noise can be a little irritating ot us humans, but the compromise is letting gecko have an early night, so we can enjoy a quiet evening!Also loved the outward hound snake, but the gecko is a compact shape, and less hazardous when our dog tosses it into the air.RECOMMENDED!
