2 failed within days - UPDATED 12/14
I purchased 2 of these, plus an almost identical looking model by FosPower, before my wife and I went on a 7 week Europe/UK business trip in Oct and part of Nov 2014. The reason I bought 3 was in case 1 went down, since that seems to be an unfortunate reality with USB travel chargers. Well, these arrived a day before we left and I checked them all and all worked fine. Got out on the road and within the first few days one of these stopped charging completely at the USB ports. Placed it in my bag for checking again later (never worked) and pulled the other one out. Worked fine for the first week, then it started to take forever to charge my wife's Note 3 phone. So my wife simply used it as a foreign outlet adapter to charge her laptop and used a traditional phone charger for her phone (which she wisely also brought with her). The other universal charger I purchased for the trip from Amazon is a FosPower unit and it worked the entire trip without a problem and charged my phone quickly. Here is the link to that one. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00MY9F7U8/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1The other issue I have had with the 2 Mudder and the FosPower (see link above) I still use, is that when you use it as a simple USB charger in the USA, it occasionally can have issues with the 2 blades not keeping a constant connection to the outlet you plug it into. Some power outlets are a bit better than others keeping this powered up, but because the US blades that come out of these universal chargers also travel a bit circularly (so they work for Australia's non-parallel outlets), they can have a tough time making a consistent connection to the outlet they're plugged into. You'll end up having to twist the charger a bit in hopes it will stay connected to power.Obviously, this thing works for some folks, given the high ratings, but I am a guy that travels overseas about 4 months out of every year for work, so getting a dependable travel charger that doesn't lose USB charging power is crucial. If you still want to try it for yourself I recommend to do so right before a short trip, so in case of failure you will have enough time to return it when you get back. Unfortunately for us, being overseas for so long after our purchase, that was a near impossibility to return, so we lost the $30 for 2 of these.-------------Updated 12/14/14 For the geeks out there:I decided to purchase a USB current/voltage tester from Amazon to be certain what was happening with the charging amperage output of all my USB chargers. If you want to get one, it's an AboveTEK tester http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ICR1UB6/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1I tested this Mudder :^) and it never output more than .45 amps to either my Samsung Note 3 phone, Note 10.1 tablet, or JBL Charge Bluetooth speaker. It was even worse with my iPad2, giving out only .09 amps. In comparison, the FosPower put out approx 1.2 amps on my Note 3 (even more, when it was really discharged), and 1.79-1.87 amps to my iPad and JBL Charge. However it would not charge my Note 10.1 - same numbers as the Mudder. So, in conclusion, I believe the Mudder may have started out with similar output to the FosPower, but something inside the unit failed quickly (diodes?) and changed the charging power it would give via USB within a very short time after using it. And just in case you're wondering, these were well cared for, and carried on the plane with us so the baggage handlers could not be to blame. Now off to look for another Universal power/USB charger for the next trip for my wife.

Best travel adapter I've ever owned.
This is a great travel adapter. I've used it in multiple countries using all the different prongs and USB charge ports. It's sturdily built and has held up being tossed in a bag without breaking like similar adapters I have owned in the past. A few things to note if you are purchasing this adapter is that there is no ground (it accepts a grounded plug, but the adapter doesn't have a ground prong for the wall). This isn't a show stopper, but something to consider if you need a ground for a device you are using. Also, it is very compact for having so many adapter options, but it is a bit bulky which could cause issues in areas where space is limited around the outlet. Additionally, depending on how you plug in the adapter and the layout of the wall socket, the device rotates which makes where you plug in your USB and device change. This compounds with its bulkiness and can make plugging in devices in small areas challenging. Overall I have no issues rating this device 5 stars because it is robust and option packed for the money.

Good adapter, great overall value
The media could not be loaded. In this video, I discuss the features, limitations and usage of the product. I have been using this product for quite sometime and I am happy with its performance. This converter is a good solution for people on the go, it is compact and lightweight. Are you in a foreign country wanting to use your laptop and charge your iPad? This device can do that. Need to run a hair dryer? Sorry, it's not meant for that. If you can keep in mind that this device is meant for small electronics more than anything else, you'll find it invaluable. It is not a heavy duty device, but it has plenty of capacity for its intended use. The maximum current draw allowed for this device is 6A, which is plenty for most consumer electronics. Please take a look at my video review for more details.Pros: Economical, nicely designed for travel, dual USB charging ports, allows for many distinct combinations.Cons: Build quality is not the best. The size of the unit can cover up a second receptacle on a wall. Does not provide grounding.

Overall great product
This is great. It works well and I love that it has the 2 USB ports as well as the regular plug port. We were able to charge several things at once which was so helpful. The all-in-one plugs and power adaption capabilities were also fantastic. The cons: we had some trouble plugging a regular plug into the device; it works, but you have to finesse it a bit. Also, the Europe connection won't pop out unless you hit the button at JUST the right place, which was a little frustrating once or twice.

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR
1 of the 2 adapters worked for all 3 plugs. 1 of the 2 adapters worked for US and EU, but not UK (the plug would not come out). I challenge the quality of the product manufacturing and the Quality assurance process. To take it a step further, while using the UK plug on the working adapter, there were issues with both USB ports working simultaneously. The 2A did work successfully alone, and the (2) adapters worked together for charging phones. When attempting to use the USB ports for (2) other 1A devices, the 2nd device would not take a charge. I did not bother returning the devices, even though neither was full functional, because they had been used in their limited functional capacity.

Not Too Happy ... But it does the Job .
Pros ,1) Good finish ,2) Nice quality,3) loved the USB chargers .Cons :1) Really bulky.2) Slips of US socket very often , does not have a firm grip .3) The Universal socket is also a bit lose . my laptop charger keeps getting disconnecting while in use .Over all a good product But i personally feel that there are better products out there with the same price range which is wort taking a look .

Great little travel adaptor.. charges up fast.
This is very useful for someone like me who travels a lot. Most of the time the 2 USB ports are all I use on my trip. Unfortunately, I dropped it once and now the UK prongs seem to be a little faulty and won't let me charge. I had to use the EU prongs instead and it worked fine.
