I can use this set of 6 plate mats both outdoors or indoors because of the type of material used on these mats. We have used these during the last month of summer and first month of fall and they have held up great to many spills from the kids and guests. We just wash them in hot water and soap get food or dried liquid sauces out with a scrub brush. The holes are pretty small so it helps to keep some of the spills or moisture off your table, but the material keeps it from sliding on both our ikea dining table or glass patio table. We have not placed extremely hot plates on these but ordinary bowls and plates with hot dishes have not caused any problems.

Nice place mats. look great. Only problem is the curl at the ends even when I store them flat. Roll them into a tube both ways before using and they will lay flat

I just got my place mats today and they are exactly what I was looking for. I’ve been trying to find easy to rinse place mats since we have 3 kids. I would love to own fabric ones but I fortunately it’s not in the cards for a few more years when everyone stops spilling and mushing food into everything. These are like a vinyl material, easy to rinse off with soap and water after meals but still look classy and save my table and table cloths!

These placemats are beautiful .. more dark gray as shown in the pic.. make fir a very classy look. They are easy to clean and add elegance .. I m enjoying them !

Very well made product. I got the light gray color which is very nice. I am using them outside under my potted plants on tables.

I use these in my refrigerator to keep it clean, they placemats are wipeable. They do not stain in my experience.

Red wine was spilled on one of the place mats and it wiped right off. Very durable, no wrinkles, easy clean. Love them.
