Best purchase of 2022!!!... but wear gloves when unpackaging ๐
The get-to-the-point review = absolutely solid, high-performing & heavy-duty fruit press; simply hose it down to clean; this is a new design in the fruit press world, so don't be afraid that the review count is small (as of Dec2022);The review details = for days, we spent countless hours online researching what type of fruit press to buy (mostly wooden basket, countertop stainless, & this new style); we even created social media posts to ask for actual user input from our neighbors; when all said and done, we decided to take a chance on this new stainless steel, deep bucket on a heavy-duty, square, soldered frame; COULD NOT BE HAPPIER!!We live in the apple capital of the USA (Washington State) and have several fruit trees ourselves, so for us to spend the money to buy a press meant it needs to hold up for the big, long haul. We were both hesitant and nervous to order this shiny hunk of metal because there were hardly any reviews. Furthermore, there seems to be a lot of general photoshop altering of pictures for online items all over the internet these days...making me hesitant to believe that what I'm buying is actually going to be what arrives at my door. Well, I am happy to report that this fruit press is exactly as advertised. It is solid, heavy duty, welded/soldered precisely and clearly built for the long haul.Assembly was easy because it is the same size bolts, washers and wingnuts for every connection point (all included). It also came with a pair of rubber/latex gloves and white plastic filter disc thingy's (have no idea what it's for). There were also 2 large mesh straining bags. The box itself was doubled and the contents inside were all secured, Styrofoamed and bubble wrapped. (just adding this bit in case anyone wants to know)VALUABLE unpacking/handling TIP = as with all manufactured metal, you need to wear thick gloves when handling parts that don't get deburred or sanded. All manufacturers of all fruit presses of every design produce threaded shafts that contain tiny metal shards. Nearly all of those are cleared off before the lubrication and the packaging, but due to static, some will make it through to us, the customer. I read this from many customers when doing research on the other presses and I found this to be true as well.Functionality = using it is fun, fast and easy. We use an apple ๐ crusher first, then dump it into this press. Popped the pressure plate on top then turn the T-bar screw shaft until we couldn't crank any more. The juice oozed out of the inner barrel, then out the spout and through a mesh screen debris catcher. Finalized by tilting a bit to get any remaining juice out (cause we're frugal like that), then unscrewed the T-bar shaft and emptied the apple pulp. Our only challenge was keeping the dogs from stealing a slurp of juice from the apple stream!Tip 1 = for us, the compressed apples stayed with the inner barrel, making it easy to lift out on its own & move to a nearby bucket for dumpingTip 2 = when cranking the press down, we found it easier to slip a horizontal pole through the T-bar handle...giving us wider leverage; then removing the extra pole when unscrewing; it's still only a one-person task, but we're all about doing things the easy wayCleaning is a no brainer. Lay it out at an angle on the ground and spray it with the water hose, then air dry. Done.We are super happy with this fruit press and hope that this over-the-top explanation is helpful. We're kinda picky folks and I gotta say, we done good on this purchase.

Missing parts!
Press is missing all nuts for the bolt screws. It does not have a plug to stop the flow.
