I have another "water's" type of corkscrew that was a part of Brookstone set and also has a wooden handle. This one, however, is much better. Not only does it look nice, it works better too. Sharp foil cutter, extremely solid construction, beautiful wood and metal appearance.Rabbit-style bottle openers are easier to use, but guess what - I have one and stopped using it years ago. They are too bulky, clumsy and once I pinched my skin with it. This type of a bottle opener, once you learn to use it, is compact and satisfying in use. I am definitely going to use this opener.I received this item at a discount for an honest and unbiased review.

Received quickly and as described. The foil cutter is sharp and I had no problems removing corks. For me the handle was comfortable and the rosewood finish on the handle looks classy. All parts move easily and it looks to be quality made. This would make a great gift along with a bottle of wine. I liked it.I received this product at a discount for my unbiased honest opinion. Very nice corkscrew, the rosewood makes it elegant. Very good quality material, it works just as well as any other waiters corkscrew, but the rosewood gives it a higher quality look. I was given this item as a promo in lieu of an honest review.
