Great Idea For Animals Who Give Up Easily.
The concept of this product is fantastic. It'd work well for critters who aren't overly curious and determined. Unfortunately, my problem child/cat only resisted this cover for a week or so before I woke up to find dirt all over the place again. The issue looks to be that she jumps on top of the cover, and sticks her paw into the opening that surrounds the trunk of my ficus. She can then scoop soil out and run her paw to the overlapping section of the cover that doesn't snap closed. My counter solution is to put packing tape sticky side up on top of the cover. It caught her a few times already, but I'll be counting down until she figures out a way to get around that obstacle too.Overall, if your animal is not as willful as mine, this should work like a charm.
