Decently loud affordable and hold on real good to the rod with the rubber band attached
You get what you pay for! they will mess up in the rain but they dry right back up to normal! Not that sensitive but I go cat fishing so sensitive strikes really don’t matter to me. I love that They work vary well in strong currents. I gave these alarms five stars because they’re affordable, decently loud, adjust volume-sensitivity for strong currents! they’ve been threw rain, mud and still work just fine! Only real issue I ran into was the alarm getting in the way of casing No matter what way it’s position! It’s a pain Taking them off and on especially with the hard rubber band! But that rubber band keeps that alarm tightly in place it’s not going anywhere!

Awesome
Perfect for what I wanted. Can use for light gear on a slow troll or drift. Adjustability makes it well worth it.

Sensitivity adjustment , volume control & on/off switch all work very well.
Used these for walleye while drift fishing & trolling on Michigan's inland lakes & they performed quite well. It was nice to be able to just leave the rods in a holder & attend to other tasks. I did not use them with planer boards but I think they would be ok as the tension setting I used was just above the minimum setting. I bought 4 more to use on my surf rods this winter in Florida. The only issue, a small one, was the clamp was a bit big for the walleye rods. A few wraps of tape fixed this problem.

WTF? Not very sensitive at all! Buyer beware!
Avid fishermen and women!!!!!! Read my review before pulling the trigger on buying!!!!It could definitely use some work. It should say in the description that it is not meant for small, lightweight poles. While I could get it to stay at the most smallest part of the rod, the tip bends too much and does not give enough tension on the alarm. Also, it would be best if instructions came in the box. Both my husband and I are stumped trying to figure out which way to spin the sensitivity wheel so that it is the most sensitive. Little bar or big bar? Unless there is a big grab/bite on your line, the sensor doesn’t necessarily ring/light up. We switched back to our bells for our smaller poles (disappointing because we bought enough for all poles). If fishing primarily for cat, go for it. Trout, sunfish, bluegill and the like won’t give enough of a pull to set off the device.

Bring on the fish!
I haven’t had time to use them yet due to winter. This spring thru fall I will use them and update the pros and cons. They are loud but then again you can adjust the volume.

Perfect
Love how it’s adjustable with both tension and volume and the led light is great if you’re night fishing like I do and have a lot of friends around getting drunk and playing music while we fish!

Does not work
Very low sensitivity. The alarm barely works for catfish. We just switched back to clip on bells because they actually work.

All four should have different sounds
All four should have different sounds to identify which pole
