All KX +Pb1 filters are made of extruded activated carbon that reduces soluble lead using an ion-exchange filter medium with high specificity for soluble lead. Particulate filtration is used to intercept insoluble lead-containing particles, therefore making these filters very powerful in many residential and commercial applications. Works fine in our home
Works fine in our home. Had one of these years before, so nothing much has changed.The water tastes great so far. Setup was easy.One con is that sometimes the metal cap that screws into the faucet, (I'm sorry, I don't know what its called), is not tight enough that water spurts out, and its a guessing game of which exact milliliter do we turn it to. Though the filter is fine 95% of the time.
