Hisense 43-Inch 43H5500G Full HD Smart Android TV with Voice Remote (2020 Model)

For the money I gave this TV 3 stars, because of the price, yet expecting some quality issues.Con's:SLOWunresponsiveCould be difficult to get setupdid I mention it was SLOW?Pro's: CHEAP & WORKS, eventually!(Read on if you want the long winded version)Cons:1st of all they are not boxed well, The 1st TV, I had to wait an extra week and a 1/2 to receive a box on my doorstep in the shape of a U. Then I can finally start the return process. (but that was shipping)I get the new TV ( YAY ), pulling it out of the box I noticed there's not much protection.Now comes setup; I had to call customer service multiple times to get the remote to connect to the TV and my TV connected to the Internet.These are technical issues that do come with new electronics mixing with old but I am a technical person that worked professionally in electronics most of my life. This includes repairs on all electronics both hardware and software. Including new tv's.After speaking with customer service multiple times I finally ended up getting it working on my own. Maybe we can blame the hard times and lack of people available.After using the TV for several months I could tell that it was extremely SLOW, taking up to 3 minutes to open an app or even to change to a different input!I have a computer hooked up to the HDMI port and it is extremely slow. It is slow even to pull up the menu, or turn off. ( Sometimes leaving the volume going after the screen is off for up to 4 minutes.Even changing the volume can take 30 seconds or more. Again this is a very inexpensive TV and you do get what you pay for. ( sucks trying to answer a call )I have to power cycle it often and for multiple reasons.It randomly decides to change inputs, jump back to the home screen, ( or my favorite ) power off, then wait, wait, wait, power on, wait, wait, wait, home screen, wait, I think you get the picture :)It does not just go back to the last app when changing inputsDoes not remember which person was last on the app you go to. ( May be the apps themselves )Touch any button on the remote by accident and you spend the next 5 minutes trying to get back to where you where in the app to find the show you were watching not listed in recent. The search now begins to find the show you were watching. ( while the TV takes 5 seconds or more, to move across the keyboard with each character. But if you accidentally pushed twice, when you finally get to the letter you want it keeps going then registers the wrong letter. Fun! Fun!If you do not have time and patience do not get this TV, maybe the first TV shipped was a warning?I have also noticed bright spots around the edge of the television. It is noticeable with a completely solid coloured screen. Either quality issues or in shipping. ( inadequate boxing for regular residential shipping )Pro's:IT'S CHEAP!Now if you made it all the way through this long winded overview: That's about how long it took the TV to respond to the button I just pushed.Oh joy! :)

Firstly, I purchased the 43 inch version with no sound bar. The packaging it was shipped in was the TV box with a shipping label, so everyone including your neighbors will know what you purchased including porch pirates, although with a package this big, I doubt that will make it any less enticing to steal if you have this issue.The tv comes with a smart remote, two legs that can be attacked to the tv with a screw and an hdmi cable. The power cable is preattached to the TV. The legs will not screw into the TV unit easily, so unless you have a really grippy screw driver and you’re strong, I highly recommend purchasing an electric screwdriver to attach them. I purchased one from Amazon for $18 and it did the trick.The picture quality is as advertised, 1080p. Due to the size of the TV the pixels are definitely noticeable, but for the $200 I paid for it, the quality is beyond acceptable.The remote is really good, despite what other reviews may say. You absolutely will notice a lag when you press a button on the remote, as well as it being finicky registering keys if you do not pair it to the tv!!! The remote will work out of the box with the TV using the IR sensor on the TV but to pair it you have to go into the TV settings on the top right and go into remotes and accessories. Once there hold the button with 3 lines on the remote which is above the arrow buttons to the left for about 10 seconds and the remote will show up on the tv. Select the remote and it will be paired. After pairing you can point the remote in pretty much any direction and it registers instantly!The tv can be slow to respond sometimes even after the remote is paired but keep in mind the price you paid for the TV and it’s a very small inconvenience in comparison and I consider myself picky.This tv has 2 hdmi ports and it is easy to switch between them using the input button. I can switch between my Nintendo Switch and Xbox with little issue.I am unsure if it just doesn’t support it, but I was unable to connect the tv via WiFi to our 5Ghz network and had to use the 2.4Ghz network. I think it doesn’t support the 5Ghz band but I’m not sure.Overall, for the price and advertised features, I give it a 5 start review. As a TV in general, I give it 3 stars due to it being a bit slow to respond sometimes and the fact you must pair the Bluetooth out of the box.

Muy amigable y súper imagen

Lo único que no me agradó mucho fue que tarda en responder la pantalla con respecto a las órdenes con el control remoto y que está pésimo el micrófono del mismo.

La calidad de la imagen se ve muy bien, en cuestión de su uso, es mejor no apagarla del todo, dejar que hiberne, porque tarda algo en cargar las apps, lo que provoca latencia en el movimiento

En general es un buen producto, aunque tarda en reaccionar cuando se quiere pasar de una aplicación a otra, fuera de esto la verdad es que esta muy bien por el precio. llego súper rápido.

Control remoto práctico, resolución buena por el precio , bocinas normales, en general buena TV smart 👍🏻
