Great Inexpensive Interactive LEGO set
My 10yo son got this set for Christmas this year and he loves it. He had received 2-3 different Mario sets this year and he loves to combine them. He already has several of the Super Mario LEGO sets and this is a great addition to the collection. These sets are really neat because they are themed to Mario but expandable. And these sets are not overly priced. One of the other benefits that he loves is the interactivity of the Mario character on some of the marked blocks in this set to cause Mario to react with changes in appearance and sound. So it's not only a LEGO set but it's kinda like a game too. We love this set especially because of the character reference to the Super Mario 2 Nintendo game. You'll enjoy this set a lot.PROS- LEGO Brand set that is high quality- Super Mario themed set that is expandable with other Mario sets in the LEGO series- Not as pricey as other sets so it is highly giftable- Fun to create imaginative games around this setCONS- Poses choking hazard to smaller children which is true of all LEGOsUnlike some of the other LEGO sets we have purchased, which is literally over 100 sets, we get a lot of use out of these ones because of their expandability and electronic interactivity. This set does not have the electronic Mario so you may want to look at the LEGO Super Mario Adventures with Mario Starter Course 71360 Building Kit

Cool set
Like all Legos they are a bit over priced for little hunks of plastic but my son has the Super Mario lego starter pack and wanted to add on. This was one of his most wanted add on packs so we bought this as a big brother gift when we brought our new baby home from the hospital. He now thinks he has the coolest brother ever because he picked out such cool legos lol.

High quality and highly loved! Family oriented toy.
We love anything LEGO and super Mario, but combine both and we are SOLD. Like most boy moms my son LOVED this my 5 year old daughter is amused for HOURS watching her brother play with it! It also encourages siblings to share because my son shares with his sister! Great family oriented toy !

We love legos!
I am a boy Mom of 3 son's. Legos are a staple in our home. The only downfall of ALL Super Mario Legos is the directions. They are all available on an app, but they dont come with the books inside the box. This is a more difficult process for our 5 year old to accomplish without parental assistance.

Add a fire level to your world
These Lego Mario sets are legit! They might be the reason why I cave in and buy a Lego table. We’ve had so much fun building them, setting up a giant Mario game, and playing it just to hear the sounds and see the animations in his eyes. This set has a lot of red, so you can incorporate a lava level into your course. Mario can crush Whomp with the QR code on his back...or will he hit the lava and die?!
