Faux ivy good coverage, looks good, Installed in less than 10 minues!
nice product. You can see the ivy plants from both sides. It is not entire private - meaning you can see through it a bit but it blocks out what you need to, provides some privacy. I put this on a black iron gate, I purchased the tall one and it was perfect fit. I used zip ties and had the thing on the gate/fence in about 5 minutes. you need a few more cover a bigger space but for the price and the size, it really is a good deal. From far away it looks real. Up close it looks pretty good, pretty real. For durability we will have to wait and see but all in all - a good product, good coverage from both sides, more real because you can see through it a bit. I have another one on a different fence/gate that has a backing on it - and you cannot see the ivy from one side- but it looks much more fake. This one is nice. I am thinking of getting another covering more area. It was also shipped SUPER fast, I didn't expect to get it so quick as it wasn't a e day Prime item so was pleasantly surprised.

Nice looking. Almost realistic.
I have this hanging under the eave outside my bedroom window. Now the light is a dappled subdued light like being in a forest. I don't have to close the drapes except for the hottest of afternoons. I didn't notice any unusual odors in opening it. I'm coming up on the 2nd year of it being outside my window and have had no issues in my Texas weather.

Holds up well outdoors
This has held up remarkably well in direct sunlight for the past year. I was a little skeptical at first because the leaf coverage is "airy" and not as dense as some of the photos. But it does allow wind through, and makes for complete privacy from neighbours. I have mine ziptues onto a metal trellis in the garden and it's quite nice. The only downside is that the leaves are mounted on strips of plastic - so if you trim the sheet, those strips will unwind from the plastic mesh. You'll have to hand-knot any strip that gets trimmed. That being said, mine look great after a year outdoors in the sun, snow, and wind. I didn't really notice any odd smell after unboxing. Because the sheet is so flexible, you could wrap this around a rain barrel or fence, without any problem.

Best privacy ivy I could find after searching the internet for weeks - for a reasonable price
Perfect for my needs. I wanted a privacy screen higher than the fence at the back of my property so that when I sit in my back family room with french doors during the non- leaf season of the year my neighbors could not watch my couch-potato behaviors :) This is especially relevant when it gets dark at 5pm and I have lights on in the house.I built a rough wood frame with 3 2x4's and used a cheap vinyl 2x8 privacy lattice i purchased from Menards as a structure. I'm not even sure I would need the lattice part of this design but it does give some support to the vine roll, especially if the squirrels decide it is a new playground toy.Pros:Good price compared to other similar options.Good coverage of leaves over the surface involvedVery adjustable because it is designed in squares that pop together (very tightly) so you probably won't have to do any cutting if you want a different size.Seems quite durable for the outdoor application I chose and the way I mounted it.Very little work and easy to move or change for other purposes later.Cons:The square sections are snapped together VERY tightly and I had to use a pliers to get them apart. Not sure how it would be to put them back together...The "realistic" assessment of this faux ivy is pretty good but not perfect and I might not want to use it in a place people will walk right up to it.I would also like it if the company created some "accessories" in the form of non-square sections for the bottom row that would mimic ivy as it hangs down irregularly because part of the realism of my ivy is lost in that it is just one big rectangle!Overall I'm very happy with this product and might use it in another part of my yard for a similar reason. I'll let you know if it falls apart during the winter.

Disappointed - Not Enough Privacy
I've purchased several of these in different sizes to hang on a chain link fence that separates my property and my neighbor's. Overall, the plastic ivy creates somewhat of a minimal degree of privacy shielding. But, the leaves are so sparse that when you stretch it over a fence, there are still tons of gaping holes... Even after stacking two layers of it on top of each other, you can still see through the fence. Am pretty disappointed considering that they're $50+ a pop and NOT cheap.Another design flaw is that you can really only cut these vertically. If you cut them horizontally to customize the size, then you have to manually "tie off" each end on both sides of the cut- ie, because the fake ivy is strung onto the grid in vertical elastic bands that run vertically. So, cutting the grid horizontally adds about 30 minutes extra work minimum. Otherwise all the leaves fall off. Very, very lousy design in this respect. In hindsight, had I known that the privacy translucency of these was so poor/ weak, i would've bought a plastic green tarp and just stuck it in-between two sheets and hung it on the fence that way. That for sure would make for a good privacy shield. But, as-is, it looks like I'm going to have to apply a 3rd layer to get the level of privacy shielding that I want, which is just a dense ivy wall. A single layer is absolutely not enough. (See photo.)

Great quality, perfect solution
We just built a new deck and didn’t have the funds for a new fence as well. This was the perfect solution to cover the old fence. It looks real from afar and close up; not tacky at all. Color is dark green and matches the pictures. I plan to cover the posts and adhere it to the fence a little better, but I wanted to show these pics anyways. It really tied everything together and I’m so pleased with the quality. I’ll use nails to hang it in place so when winter comes I can easily take it down and store inside. Highly recommend!
