XCEL2/1mm Women's AXIS Smoothskin Wetsuit Jacket - Front Zip

Due to a shoulder injury, front-zip is essential for getting in and out of my wetsuit with minimal pain. I like this jacket even better than my Patagonia because it fits better and has more stretch, and also has a higher "Mandarin" collar which doesnʻt allow as much water into my suit as the wider round neckline on the Patagonia. From the photos of this Xcel Makaha style, the purple and teal color versions have the lower round neck without the "Mandarin" collar. What you prefer depends on the conditions you swim in, temperature of the water, and whether or not you like having a looser or tighter neckline. Xcel seems to run true to size, but if you like your clothes roomy, go up one size. Iʻve tried a lot of different brands of wetsuits over the years (OʻNeill, Ripcurl, BodyGlove, Roxy, DaKine, Billabong), and can highly recommend this one by Xcel. Plus, itʻs designed in Hawaiʻi on the North Shore of Oʻahu!

I was a little skeptical due to the fact that this order was "Used," however, I am very happy with my purchase! It fits like a glove and doesn't seem to retain water like the previous larger size. I no longer feel like an Orca...just a shark swimming my laps in the pool! I have RA and need the extra clothing/protection in a cool pool. This jacket has great stretch for swimming and is very comfortable!

Very comfortable and the sleeves allow flexible movement. My spring wet suit is a size 6 so I purchased a size 6. Once in the water, it was obvious I am between a size 4 and size 6 in this model.

absolutely love it. fits great, and could no find any imperfections anywhere even tho it was sold as a used or slightly imperfected. Therefore saved about $50 buying a used o slightly imperfected model

Fits like a glove. Keeps me warm in the pool. Great for winter pool exercise.

Did not last more than a week in the water. The sleeves and sides are made with a very thin material, not even a week and already falling apart. Bad quality product. Highly do not recommend.
