cutting leads to raveling
I have used this to tie chicken wire to my vinyl fence. I cut 14 inch lengths and melt the ends to seal them. The sheath over the strands slides more than I like after cutting and sitting for a time. If cut then sealed right away, there is little exposure of interior strands, but if you wait several minutes before sealing, you'll get a bigger plug end due to melting of strand lengths and sheath. Would be nice to find a product that has a better sheath/strand bundle binding. I chose this product for durability -- we'll see how well it holds up over the next year or so. I had used plastic ties, but these both a) need to be destroyed to be removed and b) disintegrate due to UV exposure.

gets the job done nicely but at a cost
this is a review of the Extremus paracord 50' length. i'll start off with what i like about it.1: very strong given the fact that i have no way to test the exact strength while measuring the total load of it i was able to tie it between to clothes line poles and hang off of it with both myself and wife supported so roughly 310lbs2: As it was outside in the weather i found that i had little to no color bleed of the black color i chose3: it has many uses my wife was especially excited that she could make some custom bracelets with it. myself i used it on my kayak to tie down loads as for my only downside on this would have to be pricing as i can find (at least in the title) equal strength cord in the same length for about half the cost.all in all this is very strong and useful cording that i can fully recommend on quality alone

It’s Paracord
It’s 550 Paracord like all the other Paracord out there. I chose this one because of the pouch it comes in. I keep it in my daily carry backpack along with bandaids and other small Prepper things.

Good value for milspec paracord.
I recently purchased the Extremus paracord to use on a fishing trip. The paracord was used almost continuously for 5 days under saltwater on a crab trap and showed no signs of wear and more importantly, never broke when I pulled up my traps. On the same trip, I used another 15’ length of it as a fish stringer. This line got alittle frayed due to rubbing on jagged rocks for 5 days, but nothing where I was worried about it breaking.Like the paracord I used in the Army, it has seven inner strands with one having the black stripping on it.One other nice thing about the Extremus brand is the ziplock style bag that it comes in. That was surprisingly useful to keep the moisture and sand off the paracord, especially in the bottom of my fishing backpack where it will stay.

Great product
This is a great product and has several uses! I’ve used it camping to tie down rain flies, tie down kayaks on my car, an outdoor clothes line, my son has made bracelets with it, and the most recent use was to help tie down a pop up canopy. Unfortunately I only had one side tied down and a gust of wind came through and blew the other side up, but the side I had tied down held strong! This was the 2nd purchase of this product because of how durable and it’s versatility! I need to get the clips next!
