Fixable if the kickstand doesn’t kick out
If the kickstand on your radon detector case doesn’t kick out, it’s because the kick piece is on backwards, leaving the stop tab directly against the back of the holder. If you push the top of the kick piece out one corner at a time (not easy), you can remove it without breaking it. Then you can flip it and push it back in so the stop tab is further away from the back of the holder and the bottom of the kick piece can move out. The device works fine after I fixed it, but it gets 4 stars for incorrect assembly and lack of quality control by the manufacturer.

Real time and accurate
I set this up side be side with an Alpha Energy Laboratories Short Term Test. The Airthings Radon Detector reported the same value as the Lab report. I'm happy that the device appears accurate. Especially like the live long term and short term measuring capability.

Most of these cases are defective
Unfortunately, most of these cases were defectively assembled making them basically useless as the stand "leg" was assembled incorrectly so it is effectively spring loaded against the case so will not support the stand. Basic quality control was obviously ignored during the assembly process. I don't think it can be repaired without breaking the case, so I had to return a number of these cases. The probem seems to be getting worse, as all of the last shipments had the same defect.
