Love Love Love this cup!
So I have to say I after having a baby I knew that there would be multiple products that I would be buying over the course of my child's life, but I didn't think cups would be such a big issue! I have to say that I've probably bought at least 10 different types of sippy cups. Most of them my child did not like. He took onto valve free cups quickly. So most of the cups I bought we've only tried a few times since most cups with valves are hard to suck from...at least that's what I've found. Also, I've found it hard to come by valve free cups. I don't think there is such a thing as a perfect sippy cup but the Sip & Spin is pretty darn close. The straw cup that I am using currently, I like, it's simple, cheap, and does the job. However, my child can easily pull the straw out and cause a bigger mess than valve free cups tend to cause. The other problem is that he also likes to pull the straw out and bend it in all directions. Since it's made of hard plastic all the straws are now deformed and the cup leaks when he tips it to drink out of it because the straw no longer has a good seal with the hole that you put it through.BUT the Sip and Spin solves most of my problems.#1 The cup is valve free, which is what I wanted for my son's development but I understand may not be a priority for every one.#2 He can't pull the straw out or pull the lid off (screw top)!!!, Sure it still leaks a little when tipped upside down, but only the liquid in the straw. My other cup definitely spilled more.#3 This product came with a bonus Zoomi straw, which basically you use in the same cup in place of the spinning gadget. Kind of 2 products in one.#4 Now I really wasn't buying into the whole my kid will drink more because it spins thing...boy was I wrong. My son (20months) only drinks water and milk on a regular basis. I wish he would drink more water, he only averaged about 4-6oz of water a day and 16oz of milk. His pediatrician wasn't concerned so I didn't push the issue. Well Sip and Spin solved that for me. Since getting the cup for the last 2days he drank 16oz of water both days in addition to his milk :). Not sure if this will wear off as time passes but I'll have to update later. Now some of the CONs...#1 I was really buying the cup to give him milk because my other cup was leaking and I couldn't find replacement straws without buying a whole new set of cups. Well for some reason the spinning gadget doesn't work with milk. He can still drink but the wheel gets stuck? It didn't bother me since I didn't buy it for that purpose. I just want a valve free cup where the straw stayed put. Well with the bonus Zoomi straw I didn't have to use the spin contraption I could just use the Zoomi straw and I had a simple straw cup for the milk (I didn't know about the Zoomi Cup which you can buy on their website). However, as I indicated above the sip and spin gadget worked great to get him to drink his water, no spinning issues with water.#2 The cost, yes it is expensive and as we all know one cup doesn't cut it (well at least for me as I am using it for milk and water). For the cost of this cup I can buy 5-6 cups of the other cup I am using......But honestly I'm happy and impressed so far that I'm likely going to buy a second to make life easier.Suggestions: I only wish it had a little cap for the straw tip so when I travel with it I don't have to worry about it when it tips over. Also the pamphlet in the box indicate that the straw and 'O' ring will need to be replaced periodically but I can't find a place on their website that indicates where to purchase these items, so I wish that was an easier process. Thanks for a great product. Hope this helps someone.

Buy the regular straw
This is the second one of these I’ve bought. The first was with the basic straw and my kiddo loves it. I thought the spin straw would be even better but it’s not. It’s hard to drink from and leaks.

Awesome cups, toddler's love them :)
I was skeptical in purchasing these Sippy cups for my boys due to some questionable reviews. However, I read other reviews and decided to give them a shot. Ordering is a breeze like everything else in Amazon and got the cups in just a couple of days.I read the instructions and soon after filled them up with water and boys were thrilled by the spinner as they drank away (I have not seen them drink water that fast). When they asked for a refill the spinner did not work as intended, I wondered if I did something wrong so I disassembled them and put them back together (problem solved right? nope same problem). Here is where I remember some of the negative reviews and I was about to kick myself in the behind for not heeding the advice. That is until I contact the manufacturer to give them a piece of my mind for selling such a crappy product. However, they reassured me that if I changed the location of the spinner from the top position to the bottom. I was told that since the spinner was at the bottom there would be more pressure for the spinner to work without a problem (it is a shame that the instructions for the bottom set up is not included). It has been a few weeks and my boys beg me to drink water in those cups, they love them, I was going to give them a bad rating but was glad I contact them for some help before doing so. I have recommended to all my friends that have toddler's as they have seen how much water my boys drink in these cups without whining (precious in my book). I have include two pictures (top and bottom set up) to help other frustrated parents making this work :)

The Whole Family Likes These Cups And Straws
Great cup. My 2.5 year old daughter loves it and the spinning straw. It also comes with the regular straw that you can use which makes this the same cup as nuSpin Kids 8 oz Zoomi Straw Sippy Cup, Monster Trucks Style .When I drink out of it the spinning straw works fine. For small children like my daughter, normal sipping does not create enough water flow to get it to spin. My daughter has to really suck hard. But it's good because I find that her water consumption has gone up dramatically since we got this cup...especially when she is trying to get it to spin.I did not find the straw to be hard to take apart or reassemble. There are 5 parts. 6 if you consider the silicone washer. Once you do it once or twice, it's easy. I only serve water with the spinning straw. I use the regular straw with everything else. You can also just buy replacement straws (both the spinning and the regular) in single and multi-packs on Amazon. This is nice when straw wear out and need to be replaced or if you lose a piece of it and need another.Other than for the spinning straw, this is a very simple cup. The cup and parts are made well of high quality materials. We have two right now but I would not hesitate to buy more or recommend these to others.

It leaks!
I bought these for my grandchildren because of the great reviews it had. My grandchildren are 3 years old and 1 year old. These are not spill proof. I followed the directions and could not make it spill proof. Had my son attempt to put it together and it still leaked. So I tried one of the replacement straws. The replacement straw was made upside down so the straw wouldn't fit into the cover. Very unhappy with it. Would definitely not purchase it again or recommend it to a friend.

good quality. Would give 5 stars but the product ...
Cute cup, good quality. Would give 5 stars but the product is missing the lower piece of the spinner straw therefore I can't use and have to go out of my way to send it back. It did come with extra zoomi straw but I bought this version specifically to have a spinner function.

Best part for me is no leaks
My 2yr old son LOVES this cup. His eyes light up when he see's the trucks spin as he drinks, which encourages him to drink even more. Best part for me is no leaks.
