Fixed a non-charging 2004 Club Car DS 48v
This part fixed a non-charging 2004 Club Car DS 48v. Charger voltage meter needle would not move when plugged in, even though the charger hummed. Took the charger for testing and it was confirmed as good. I'm not a mechanic or electrician, and this installation was not very hard--took about an hour. Requires 2 wire splices. Be sure to cut the wires to leave yourself as much wire to work with as possible--you can always shorten the wires later. Obviously do not cut the connector wires or the yellow fuse wire--they will be plugged into your existing connections. The longest part of the installation for me was laying out the new part/wiring and thinking carefully about which wires would be kept from the existing part and which wires would be cut. You need a yellow 10-12ga butt splice connector and ideally a 4ga butt splice kit, but the 4ga kit is not necessary and you could opt for twisting the wires together and using a lot of electrical tape. It has been working for a week now with no problems. The golf cart store quoted me $800 to have a new OBC installed, so I saved about $650 installing this part myself.

Bad part and can’t return
This item arrived not working as so many others have experienced. It will charge the cart but the cart won’t go. It took me a long time to prove out the issue was with this item and not another electrical component. Originally I did not return it because I thought the problem was elsewhere. It took a lot of work and time on my end to figure this out because who would suspect a new part would be sent to me not working. Very frustrating and a ton of time spent diagnosing. I can’t reach the seller and I can’t return or replace it so I am stuck with a $150 piece of junk and now need to go buy another one somewhere. 10LOL products are poor quality and I would recommend looking elsewhere for your golf cart parts.

Fixed non-charging 2004 DS, install a bit difficult and no instructions.
Good value replacement OBC that fixed my non-charging 2004 Club Car DS. Installation is a bit difficult unless you are really good at DIY. All wires and plugs matched up (actually had an extra that I taped off). No instructions came with the part. Has been working well for several weeks so I am hopeful that it will last.

Works great, solved my charger problem

Great item.
Our 2003 DSS wouldn’t accept a charge and after testing I narrowed the problem down to the OBC. This item is a direct replacement at 1/2 the cost of a Club Car part and works perfectly.

What you need.
Diagnostics is most important when purchasing parts. Then choose the quality. Buy American when you can.
