SalomonWomen's XAILD Trail Running Shoes Hiking

It's my new favorite durable all terrain everyday show for my mom of wildboys life. Totally gonna start collecting more from this brand.

I normally like Salomon shoes, but they tend to discontinue models frequently, so I'm always looking for a model that works for me. The XA Wild shoe fits and provides sufficient support with a different insole. I gave 4 start, but would actually have given it 3-1/2 stars if I could. I'd deduct half a star because I have to buy an insole for it, half a star because it makes noise when walking (sounds like something crackling), and half a star because I hate Salomon's lacing system. If you like Salomon shoes and their lacing system, these are good shoes for trail walking. They provide good ankle support while being pretty light weight.

Love the color and look of this hiking shoe, but it is a plastic (must be water proof) and every time I walk makes a squeak. Was out of town and was planning to return them. But left my other hiking shoes in my rental car. So had to wear them, comfortable but totally squeaky.

First, each foot is different and thus there are different brands and models that best fit your unique foot structure.My left foot is 7.5 women's wide and my right foot is 6.5 women's wide. So I wear 7.5 Soloman XA Wild and double up socks on my right foot.My feet like these shoes because they are comfortable, they hug my feet just right around my arch, the toe protection keep my toes safe and I feel no impact when I bump into a rock. The no-lace and single tug n' sinch feature makes this shoe easy to strap in and go. My heel feels secure in these, as the back of this shoe is smaller and hugs my heel while I walk.These shoes also look like Mars Space Mission quality. So Everytime I wear them, I have this sense of pride of accomplishment, even though I'm not going to Mars.I tried on several shoes from 4 different models from Merrill's (just because I have heard Merrill's is a great brand, turns out those shoes do not work for my feet) and to 3 different models from Soloman's . What I like best about this shoe is the firm and snugness around my foot. It's also comfortable for my whole foot. Plenty of room for my toes.

What they find as a shoe string is awful. I bought these in August of 2020, now in November of 2020 the shoe strings broke. I don't think they can even be replaced. Second pair of Solomon that were bad. Will not be buying this brand again. At least zappos gave me my money back for the heel coming off my first pair after 5 months. Cheap shoes for an expensive price

First off I love Salomon shoes, I've been wearing them at work for nearly ten years now.Usually I buy them in the stores after trying them on and I regret not doing this but had difficulty accessing stores during covid.I purchased these for working-out at home and used them a handful of times in July. They didn't feel right and my foot was slipping inside and both feet were sore after 15 minutes of use.I tried them for work, once again really sore feet after a short use. Traveling, sore feet and made loud squishy noises when walking over wet cement, flooring and concrete flooring.I didn't realize until I had worn them several times that, lol they weren't even the same shoes I had ordered. But after already waiting for them for weeks, after a failed delivery attempt; I was willing to keep this pair because they were atleast the correct size.So two stars because the company that sold them were quick to send me out a new pair after the first were returned "undeliverable". And I do like the new design of the tongue that has a slip that hides the drawstring. It makes it cleaner looking and it never falls out like with older versions.Looks like it's too late for a return or exchange...

Great shoe but according to Amazon product is water resistant and it isn't. Will be returning.
