Outstanding Value!
Have to say I'm loving this cordless nailer! I started running a Paslode Impulse cordless finish nailer about 10 years ago as a cabinet installer, and it sure was nice to ditch the compressor and hoses! The Paslode Impulse was a pretty good tool, but, the gas cartridges were expensive and not everyone carried them. Plus, it seemed like every 2 months or so I'd have to tear down the Paslode for a thorough cleaning--and even with that I seemed to get a fair amount of misfires. Still, it was soooooo nice not to have to lug a compressor around!I've been out of the biz for awhile and I sold my Impulse nailer a few years back. We recently picked up a 4-plex rental and I wanted to remodel the units and needed a good finish nailer.I looked at the cordless finish nailers from Dewalt, Senco, and Ryobi, and eventually settled on the Porter Cable when it went on sale for one sixty--less than half what they want for the Dewalt!I was impressed with the nailer as soon as I opened it--nice size and weight and it looks and feels solid and well-built. The ergonomics are great--everything you need to adjust is easy to access and the LED lights are great! I've completely trimmed out 2 units so far (base, door casing, crown molding, and some chair rail) and I haven't even had to recharge the battery! Not a single misfire yet, and the nail depth is easily adjustable and consistent. This nailer takes a little getting used to as there is about a 1 second delay from when you pull the trigger to when the nail is driven, but, so far it has been great and I would highly recommend this cordless nailer! I'm so happy with it, that I'm going to buy the matching narrow crown stapler. The only negative comment would be that it doesn't come with a case, but for what I paid I'm astonished at what a great value this tool is. Of course time will tell how well it holds up and performs, but so far I am VERY happy with this tool!

Great Tool
I bought this nailer last year and used it a couple of times on small tasks. Recently, I have been involved with kitchen and bathroom redo and I have been using it a lot. It works great, easy to use and goes for ever on a single charge. I just wish it were a little lighter, but it is still easier to use than my Bostich with the hose!

Works great, but no case
I already own a Porter Cable compressor and 4 nailers, and it's great for doing extensive furniture building or trim work. But it's such a pain to have to lug the compressor and hose around when I just need to shoot a few nails. Plus, of course, the compressor is super loud. I really love those nailers so I decided to stay with the same brand for the cordless nailer. It works great! Virtually no learning curve for using it; it's very intuitive.I will say that it's much heavier and slower than a pneumatic nail gun, but that's to be expected. It is worth noting, though, that the weight distribution is different from some other brands of cordless nailers where the motor is underneath, kind of along the nail bay -- this one is at the top, and I find it contributes to faster arm fatigue and makes it a bit harder for me to shoot nails as precisely since it's so top-heavy. But, overall, it hasn't been a deal breaker.I took off one star because it appears that no case exists for this tool at all through Porter Cable. In this day and age, a tool with no case is crazy, frankly. Now I have to spend time looking for a generic case that will fit instead of having a branded case molded specifically to the tool. (The branding helps remind me what's in the case when I'm looking at all the different tools in my shed.)

My favorite tool I own so far.
This review is for anyone who has never used any kind of nailer like this. Because that was me. When I was searching and researching Brad Nailers I kinda knew what I was looking for but not really. I knew I wanted it to be cordless. I didn't wanna have to buy anything separate to make the thing work. I wanted something that wasn't complicated to use and safe. But I wanted it to be powerful for what I need it for. This nailer is amazing and far exceeded my expectations. It did jam a couple of times but that's to be expected. But getting the jammed nails out is super easy. Battery life is awesome. When you hold this thing it feels like it's worth what your paying for it. I highly recommend buying this. Loading the brads is really easy. And for all you ladies out there who might be a little nervous, don't be. I was a little intimidated at first but this thing has so many safety features you will be fine. Super easy to use. You can adjust how far you want your nails to go in. It has good weight to it. I just love this thing. Buy it..you won't regret it. To the men out there. Yes..it's tough. Does exactly what it claims to do. Goes through thick wood like butter. Lots of power and the thing is big.

VERY HANDY
So far I have no complaints. Super handy addition to my other Porter Cable cordless tools that I have had for years. Easy to use, good safety and works like a charm. I was very impressed about how long the battery lasts and still shoots nails completely in. Wish I had bought it sooner.I have had others tell me that they have to replace their lithium batteries every year or two from all brands of cordless tools including DeWalt and Milwaulkee. A TIP that I read years ago is to NEVER leave lithium batteries out in cold temps. I don't know if there is anything to that or not but I have always brought mine in the house in winter and so far have not lost one. Several of mine are eight years old and still working great....I better knock on wood, huh! Just thought I would share this tip because the batteries are so expensive. We are spoiled with cordless because they are so handy and they have us over a barrel.

Muy práctico
Solo trae una pila pero funciona excelentemente!!Pero si tienes de la misma marca otras pilas son compatibles te evitas cargar compresores y mangueras

Great for a small job
Initial test?this thing is really powerful!the quality of materials is fantasticDont expect to use this in a big workshop or a projectit takes seconds to load or boost for every shot, not like the one with compressor but for a small job at your home? Just perfect!!!!!

FAR BETTER than any competitor nailer - SUPERB
Fantastic Brad nailer!I used other brands before (a well known GREEN machine) and can honestly say Porter Cable is better in every sense. With the battery (which comes included), it’s lighter than the competition, powerful, easier to use, no recoil, no need for oil.Truly a great product and can recommend this to anyone looking to buy a nailer.Absolutely fantastic tool :)

Great addition
An excellent, functional nailer. I've yet to have a jam, and it sinks a 2-inch brad to the depth you set very reliably. It's weight is useful inertia rather than being hard to handle, and the freedom from hoses and a compressor is fantastic. I own other 20V Max tools from Porter-Cable, I'm happy with every one of them, and I really love the idea that all use the same batteries. It feels freakin' brilliant every time I snap one in.The one thing you give up with this nailer is speed. It takes a second for the internal compressor to spin up and fire the nail, and you can't just hold the trigger and touch the tip in rapid fire mode. But personally, I don't work that way anyway - I prefer to be more deliberate with placement. This one feels safe, accurate, and I'm always in control.Overall, this isn't just a good tool for the price. It's a good tool. And if you have even one other from the PC 20v family, you can't lose.
