Architect's Handbook of Construction Detailing

I use this in the studio.

The book answer most of the construction queries such as width of joints, ironmongery terms that many architect will ask when they do detailing and on site.

I bough this book for detailing reference. It explains a lot of fundamental concept on detailing but the detail collection in the book is very limited and too simple. The text is very big and the information provided is too little. It might be a good educational book but its defiantly not the book to go to when you need a quick detail for a project.

It's very usefull.

The book was advertised as waterdamaged so that was expected. It's still readable and 1/3rd the cost of new.

Not good for Indian students. None of the detail is really useful

Not so good on the number of detail drawings that I expected. Must 'read' it some more as the text may be useful, but if it is woffle then I am not going to be very happy at all
