Esright Heavy Duty Dog Crate Strong Metal Kennel, 36 inches for Large Dogs, 4 Wheels Pet Playpen Indoor & Outdoor, Removable Tray & Lock

Initially I purchased the pro empire brand but that cage (size L) was way too big for my car. So I decided to purchase this cage instead. I write this lengthy review because when I thought about purchasing this I hesitated because there were no reviews and I was skeptical it would meet my needs. I have to say though, this has been a life saver! My dog has extreme separation anxiety. She chewed my back seats, both back seat seat belts and even my roll cage cover🤦🏽‍♀️ She’s a rescue and I couldn’t even leave her in the car to even run back inside the house if I forgot something. I was losing my mind!I had tried several other crates but she would manage to break free of them while damaging herself and the crate. I tried tying her down and muzzling her but nothin worked. I decided to try this cage before buying this ridiculously expensive cage my brother suggested ($1,300). I want to be honest, this cage has had some down sides, the paint has easily been chewed off and it has left the rusted bars exposed (see pictures for better understanding). This could be a problem for somebody leaving this outdoors but for me I only leave this in my car and therefore it works great.Other thing to take in mind is it also required a lot of modifications on my end because my dog is a master escape artist. She broke the wire flooring it came with in the first hour she had it. I ended up replacing the wired flooring with plywood. However using plywood made the “catch tray” irrelevant and I ended up putting the metal catch test on top of the plywood. It was a tight fit to get them both on the top slot but has been holding up well! In addition, I had to use metal chains to wrap around the bars to prevent her from being able to open the top door and the side door as she was too smart for the simple latch system it cage with. Initially I used a million zip ties but she chewed them off so I ended up measuring and using metal chains (carabiners sizes were not ideal) from my local hardware store. I did not use the wheels it came with but they were included and easily able to attach and remove if needed.All in all I spent $20 in modifications BUT since having made those she has not escaped and my car has been damage free! I truly wish I would have tried this sooner!

My dog had a litter of 7 pups and I’ve went through several cages to get the perfect one and after purchasing this cage as pictured, I then purchased 2 more. It deserves 10 stars because it’s easy to clean, just slides out the tray from underneath; they can also be stacked on top of one another, no complaints and 100% satisfied

Strong dog crate, my dog does pretty good in it and doesn't seem to mind being in it for a few hours while we're out of the house.

Where do I even start with this janky crate...first of all the thing came rusted, scratched, dented. From the point of just taking it out of the box, I immediately regretted this purchase. You'd think it would have been in better condition for the price. Then I started to put it together...the directions are pointless, they have no words and are only pictures. I could have figured it out on my own. The hardware is awful and cheap and I had to rearrange screws because some weren't even latching when I attempted to screw them in. The locks are crooked so I alternated directions in hopes of even being able to use this crate to keep my bully confined. The door sticks out at the bottom so it isn't even flush when you lock it. The tray is dented in the corner. Now for the icing on the cake...the top of the crate. What in the actual heck is going on here??? This top isn't even the same size as the crate! I have to zip tie this crate together to even be able to use it!!!!!!! I can't even install the lock for the top because you can clearly see it won't even match up. This is by far the worst purchase ever! Stay away from this crate, for the sake of your sanity.

So far this kennel is working great, my american bully has not been able to shred it apart like he did to a previous kennel with thinner bars. The only issue we have had so far is the top door, he is able to shake the kennel hard enough to get the lock to shift and then he just pushes the top door open and is out. We have resorted to using a bike lock chain and weave it through the bars so he cant just push it open anymore.

To keep a dog who went through two other crates in three day he can not chew through this one

I am seriously disappointed with how this came to me. I contacted the seller asking for a partial refund have not heard back at this point I deserve a full refund at the shape it was in the promises made that it was rust proof. And the fact that the very sturdy metal it’s made with is dented. I had the hassle of cleaning it all up as I put it together. Don’t get me wrong my dog loves it but the tray in which they sit, Lay, stand on feels flimsy. Overall the price of this kennel is way too high for how it came I am also not certain that it’s the size specified in my order but luckily he isn’t a big dog. The entire thing was covered in rust when I pulled it out of the box goo gone removed most of it but in the creases where the metal bars are welded together in some places there is still rust that cannot be removed.
