Definitely DO NOT Recommend.
I guess you get what you paid for but I would not recommend these. I took the black one, put in four pills, put it on my keyring and it looks like the inner finish is wearing off on to the pills.

PERFECTION!!
GREAT! PERFECT! AMAZING! These are wonderful. Especially for the price. Aluminum with a rubber gasket for an airtight seal. Not too big, not too small.... perfect for the keychain. The actual product dimensions are as follows..... approximate I.D. 5/8" X 1 1/8" Approximate O.D. bottom to top with cap in place not including key ring 11/16" X 1 5/8". Small but generous space inside. Not too big for the key ring, yet big enough to hold more than a few round Motin tabs. Definately one of the best products here on Amazon!! I have 3 small pills I now take three times a day. The mnorning and evening are not a problem, but carrying around my mid-day dose was a brain teaser. Until this! PERFECT! HOME RUN! Would also be great for a couple "as needed" pills!!

A good solution to one of life's little aggravations
My hearing aid batteries tend to die at the most inopportune times (of course!), and I *had* been carrying spares in a plastic sliding-drawer caddy on my keyring...until I went for a spare and discovered that the slide had fallen out sometime, somewhere, taking all my batteries with it.These little cases are perfect replacements, much better than what I had been using. The o-ring provides a good seal, and the screw-cap arrangement means it won't open accidentally. Although it's a snug fit, you don't need a lot of hand strength to unscrew it; in fact, the attachment ring serves as a convenient "twister." Aluminum construction makes them lightweight and tough. They have no plastic or glass lining, so they're also roomy. I use size 512 batteries and can easily fit a dozen inside. My wife uses 512s and 10s, and I just filled a case with about 10 of each, with room to spare. And their buck-apiece price can't be beaten. Plastic cases, similar to my old one, are available on Amazon for $3.25 each, and up. You do the math...Highly recommended.

4 opened and closed easily. 2 took some force to open and close ...
Ordered these so i could store my diabetes medication in while on the go. They store 2 of my 850 mg metformin tablets and 1 small 4000 IU gel D3 pills. Thats about it. If i put 1 more of the D3 pills in there the pills tend to jam in there and i have to bang on a hard surface to dislodge them. Of the 6 i received, 4 opened and closed easily. 2 took some force to open and close as the threaded connection seemed to not bee smooth. Also on the black one (the one i really planned to use) the hole that the key ring is in, seemed to be smaller than the others and the key ring was stiff. So i bored it out a little more using a drill and now rotates smoothly on the keyring. Overall i am pleased with these things, and keeps me from not having access to my pills. I usually always keep 2 pills stocked in here in case im out and about when i need to take one. Been using the black one for about 2 months now and the paint is starting to chip and scratch off. Not that it bothers me all that much.

Does one thing and does it well.
I have to carry potentially life-saving medication with me 24/7. I keep two of these: one on my keychain that is always with me when I leave the house, the other on my nightstand.Fortunately, I have not needed to use the medication yet. However, this product has kept it nice and air-tight the whole time without coming apart. I have not submerged it, so look to another review for a test of water-proofing. All I can say is it has not come off my keychain, and the top has not come unscrewed on its own and I did not torque it down tightly, either. Works great for me so far after six months.

The paint flecks off the black one onto the pills.
These cannisters are smaller, which is a good thing--bulky keychain attachments are an annoyance. They unscrew from their cap, which remains on the keychain. The threading seems weak, but it's held up so far. It looks like it wants to be waterproof, and so far I can't say that it isn't. The cannisters seem hardy; I haven't noticed any real scratches or dents on the red one I use, even as it bangs against the rest of my keys. However, after a few months of using the black one, I noticed little black paint flecks on the pills themselves. Who even knows what that paint is! I haven't noticed the same with the red version, and I haven't used the others at all, so I'm not certain if it's *just* the black one with this issue.

Was initially my husband's idea and he has some on his key ring containing Motrin and Sudafed since he gets terrible sinus heada
I use these tiny canisters as pill holders. Was initially my husband's idea and he has some on his key ring containing Motrin and Sudafed since he gets terrible sinus headaches out of nowhere. I purchased some when my son started taking a medicine that comes in a dissolving wafer that I had to cut in quarters. I need a safe place to store them where they wouldn't get damp at all. So far so good these are perfect. You can laser engrave things on them too if you want to label them.

Lifesavers!
I would buy these again! I no longer need to have keep allergy pill bottles in the car, in drawers at work and in different purses just in case! I keep this thing filled and know that I always have them with me. Quality is good and doesn't add much weight to my keys. I've even clipped some to my hiking pack with aspirin and allergy pills. They hold about 15 small pills comfortably and about 6 Advil pills. I don't like to stuff them in there. And the colors are good if you're trying to match a key ring color scheme :)
