Bought this for my wife to use when crocheting and cross-stitching so she can clearly see all the tiny stitches. Works a treat and she says it really comfortable on.

This item is described as 500 lumen, yet it is nowhere near as bright as a 300 lumen headtorch that I already own. I would ask Amazon to determine whether this item has been fairly described - I would be surprised if it is in realty a 500 lumen headtorch. I can not recommend this item.

I don't know what the battery life is because they are still going. Admittedly, I've only used it for a couple of hours but it stayed bright for that time. The motion detection works but I haven't found much use for it.

Great little torch for the price.I used it for an hour every night in November for running and never had any problems.Was bright enough for running through the woods in the pitch black and didnt dim during any runs.

Great headtorch for the moneyDecent light for night running dark countryside lanes. I usually set it to medium, cos that's plenty. I usually run for 1.5 hours and it doesn't show any signs of dimming over that time.Its lightweight and very comfortable.For trail use you might need to set it to full power, I don't know what the battery life would-be like then. I suspect it would be fine for at least an hour if not more.

Unfortunately-apart from the first time I used it-the energy saving softer/yellow light doesn't work. Obviously this means I can only use the torch for a shorter time, as well as the inconvenience for others of being dazzled by the brighter light.I would have returned it for a refund but I have no way of printing prepaid labels, and the nearest shop that could print it for me is too far away as I don't have transport.Disappointing :(

This is a good head torch for the money and I would recommend. The light is bright and the charge lasts for a good amount of time. The sensor function is quite handy as you can turn off and on by simply moving your hand in front of it but it does not trigger accidentally during normal use. The sensor function does not have to be activated and the buttons to select the functions are easy to use.

I brought as a gift arrived in a tiny little cheap box. Star rating good so I’ve kept it but packaging definitely disappointing
