45mm Full Metal D20 Norse Foundry Aged Mithiral - The Boulder RPG D&D Polyhedral Dice

I wasn't sure whether or not I needed a massive, solid-metal d20. Now that I have it in hand, I can't "weight" to chuck it at some Kobolds! I'm sure this d20 will do at least 1d4 damage on it's own (sadly, minus my strength modifier).In all (or mostly) seriousness, I can tell this thing is well made. The edges are clean and the numbers clear. I purchased this item from Norse Foundry for the same reason I purchased a " Set of 7 Polyhedral Metal Dice Aged Mithral Norse Foundry D&D Pathfinder " from the same company: There might be slightly less expensive alternatives, but you get what you pay for. If your going to dole out some cash on some "elite" dice, get a brand you won't be disappointed with! I highly recommend both the quality of this product specifically and Norse Foundry's quality in general. I was extremely satisfied with the craftsmanship (and I'm picky!)My one criticism is that the dice were all shipped together in a single padded envelope where they were free to jostle each other. While the shipping envelope arrived intact, the "Boulder" had broken free of it's restraints. In an apparent fit of vengeance against that which would contain its awesomeness, it did a once over on its (now former) packaging. I will have to look into purchasing some other box or case for storing it... Interestingly enough, the package containing the other dice was untouched."The Boulder is over his conflicted feelings, and now he's ready to bury you in a rock-a-lanche!"

This thing is enormous, I got 2 of them as christmas gifts for my friends and they might be a little too big for practical use. If I kept them for myself, I'd probably use them as a Billy Baroo (the old man's putter at the end of Caddyshack), just taking them out once in a while for a special moment.

Large and made out of steel or a similar alloy. Make sure you have something padded to roll it on.

This thing is a beast- great weight and feel to it. You could probably just use the die for your attack and do some serious damage.

Bel article, qui en jette il faut le dire. Bien taillé, très joli, seul bémol qui lui retire une étoile : il manque du vernis sur une face ! (je pense qu'au moment d'être vernis le" dé a été pausé sur la face 20 et qu'on a oublié de finir la dernière face, j'essayerai de corriger ça moi même). Very well cut, very pretty, only flat which withdraws a star: it lacks varnish on one side (20) ! (I think that at the time of being varnished the die has been paused on the face 20 and that we forgot to finish the last face, I will try to correct it myself). For a price as expensive for a dice one expects something impeccable.A by that, it remains a beautiful dice that is hard to find elsewhere :)
