RV Designer L100, Hatch Lock with 1-1/8 inch Cam, Hatch Hardware

I needed a replacement keyed cam lock assembly on the hatch cover for the outside shower on our RV. Unlike some others which are threaded on the outside & can fit different thickness covers this one simply snaps in as did the original.I noticed one reviewer complained about the fact that if will only fit on a thin hatch cover, but if you take the time to look closely @ the one you need to replace FIRST, it's obvious this will either fit or not.The measurements they give aren't real helpful though.

The latch part of the lock is riveted onto the lock mechanism. Others that I have purchased in the past have a screw attachment. This is helpful if the latch length is not correct or a different bend. On others that I have purchased you are able to swap the latch and use the new lock. Be aware that this cannot be done with this unit. .

Bought this product for my rv. Package said it was 1-1/8". Item inside was 5/8" very disappointed. Didn't notice till I got my RV out of the shop.
