I'm giving it a 5 for now, because I'm so happy! I am excited that instead of replacing my entire dryer, I was able to change out this part by following a YouTube DIY video -- and, most importantly, it's working! There were a few tricky moments during the install, but, I overcame them and am pleased. I was happy to by the kit because I replaced all 3 parts at the same time. And, that was and added bonus because, in addition to the dust in the vent, I think the thermostat malfunctioned a long time ago causing the heating element to eventually burn out...right now, the drier is running like new!

The price for all 3 components, was less then the pro was charging for 1! Plus the 250 bucks he didn't get because I did it myself, was worth the sctratches and cussing of the installation. I was proud of myself after my first DIY repair! And it made my dryer work even better!TADA!

My dryer stopped heating up and I had a feeling it needed a new heating element. It’s 10 years old and we wash a lot of clothes so I wasn’t surprised. I got this kit and installed the heating element. It was easy to put in and it was delivered the next day. So much better than paying a repairman or even worse buying a whole new dryer. For 20 bucks and an hour of your time, it’s definitely worth a shot. So far it’s been a couple months and it’s still going strong. I’m hoping it lasts a while but even if it only lasted a year, it’s worth it compared to the cost of a new dryer. I didn’t install any of the other parts but I have those in case those go out as well

If you are tired of being ripped off like I am this is the way to go. I got two for around 41 or so dollars. I replaced all the components and now it works great. If you do it the other way:Weeks to get repaired. Finding a good tec to fix it. 200 to 400 or more bucks.Maybe to decide to replace it: 200 to 2200 bucks.I watched a Youtube repair video and the best thing I had done. Saved me hundreds.Update 27 July 2021:I replaced the parts and still no problems. When I replaced it the first time the coil was broken. I might not have needed to replace all the pieces but I did anyway. I kept those pieces if I needed them in the future and still have a new heat coil kit.Before all this: I called Tecs and they might take a week or more for the appointment. When they get there its 65 to 85 dollars sometimes more look it over with these codes they punch in. Then they tell me it will be a good while or so for the parts, another two or three weeks no dryer. When they get the part setup another appointment. Come over install tne part or parts, usually one part. Test it seems to work while the tec is there and thats around 200 or 300 dollars. Maybe this time it works for a couple months or more and them stop working and same problem but a little different. Same thing happens again.Well I had to take control of that situation and glad I did. Again saved me hundreds of dollars.

No heat in dryer, I have ordered from Amazon before, so once again I ordered. Received on Amazon delivery day so, it was all good. Dryer heats up like its suppose to now.

This is the second time we have bought one of these from this company (different dryers) and they always work great!

It will burn out as soon as you put it in. Started it for the first time and immediately it blew. I retired it and got my money back. It’s a waste of time buying it thinking it will fix the problem. Will have you out of a dryer until you buy a more expensive one that will last. Shouldn’t be sold
