These are useful items to have in the toolbox
The media could not be loaded. Where I prefer to use the correct spanner size for the nut these FINDER BS192265P Portable Adjustable Quick Snap'n Grip 9-32mm Universal Wrench Set are useful items to have in the toolbox for those times you don’t have the right spanner size. However, I can see these stripping nuts and causing you further issues as the fit is not perfect. You get the two universal wrenches one large wrench full length: 11 inches and one small wrench full length: 8. 4 inches, two heads design. Both which are made of carbon steel so tough and durable and should last sometime. With both wrenches you have adjustable size from 9-32 mmNot just used to replace spanners, Multi -use: Great work with taps, valves, pipes and piping, radiators boilers, wheels.Useful item to have in your toolbox and not too expensiveIf you have found my review helpful at all, it would be great if you could click the 'Helpful' button below, thank you!

Reasonable priced and sturdy enough.
FINDER BS192265P Portable Adjustable Quick Snap'n Grip 9-32mm Universal Wrench Set 2pcsThese wrenches come quite well presented in a moulded plastic cover which you have virtually to destroy to get them out. It is recyclable so I suppose that mitigates not having something to store them in after. They look very nice in a silver, black and orange livery. Orange plastic is used to form the handles with softer black PVC over mouldings used to form grip sections. The wrenches all have decent heft to them and are quite comfortable to grip, the handles are large enough to get a good purchase without digging in and hurting your hands. The shape of the wrench heads has to be a compromise to fit a range of sizes and somewhere in the mid-range of each tool will probably give the best hold on a nut or bolt. However, I did find that the lowest size of 9mm is probably a bit ambitious, I would say 12mm is a better lowest size without damaging anything. The moving jaws seem to be made from more resilient steel than the handles which are stampings, this is probably the best configuration as the moving jaws might otherwise be prone to distorting under heavy use. Mind you the jaws pivot on fairly small (about 6mm) rivets so this might fail before any major damage to the jaws.In use, once the right size wrench is chosen for the job, which incidentally is more by trial and error because there are no sizes marked, it is a simple matter of putting the moving jaw behind the nut and swinging the handle until it bites. You can put a fair amount of force onto the nut but these wrenches are really only for the last part of tightening or the first part of loosening a nut, you would use another kind of spanner if there was any length of thread to traverse. At the price (£8.52 at the moment) these wrenches are a reasonably priced addition to your toolbox, they are sturdy enough for occasional use which is after all what they will get.

Handy to have, strong construction
FINDER BS192265P Portable Adjustable Quick Snap'n Grip 9-32mm Universal Wrench Set 2pcsThese are supplied in a bubble wrap package which has to be destroyed to remove the tools. Once removed, the tools will have to be stored loose in a tool box or bag.I have come across similar tools to these in the past, the design is different but they essentially work in the same way. As pressure is exerted, the tool tightens up, thus gripping the object tighter. These most certainly have their uses, but if these are to be used on nuts and bolts then use with caution, the tool can slip under pressure which could end up rounding the nut or bolt head.I did find one or two rough edges around these tools that were a little sharp, not sharp enough to cut, but uncomfortably sharp. The moving heads too are a little loose. Despite this, they do work fine and are are sturdy enough to last for years. The handles are easy and comfortable to hold, they appear to be made from tough nylon with hard silicone inserts. For tight nuts and bolts I would use these as a last resort if no spanners were available. But they certainly do have their uses, especially if you wish to take as few tools as possible with you. Where I do find these handy is for gripping, these will grab a pipe, steel rod or similar very tightly providing pressure is maintained. I wouldn't use these on tight stubborn nuts and bolts, but nuts and bolts that are regularly removed, then these will work fine provided care is taken .CONTENTS:1 x 28 cm Wrench1 x 20 cm WrenchThank you for reading my review, I hope you have found it helpful.

Good for the Money
Many, many years ago I joined my first trip as an engineering cadet and discovered the bounteous joy of owning a Bacho adjustable wrench, the 8" one with 'Invented by,' down the handle. All British marine engineers have one of these in their pockets, known as 'shifters' used all the time for nipping up nuts and bolts on rounds.Of course a shifter whilst being a wonderful thing is also known for rounding off nuts if improperly used by a gorilla dressed as an engineer - which is almost all of us marine engineers... And thus the standing joke about using a shifter to properly round off the nut so a set of Stillson wrenches can be used became a thing.Which is a round about way of saying these are ideal for those occasions when the nut and bolt are no longer of any use to a proper spanner because they have been butchered or corrosion has won the day. Whilst no longer on a ship these would be properly useful until they broke under the weight of expectation and a sixteen stone geezer on the end of a long bar.For normal use they are perfectly good, especially for household plumbing tasks when trying to hold one of those quarter turn 15mm isolation valves. In terms of build quality I'd say they were okay. I doubt they would last long where they would be used for industrially solidified nuts and bolts but for general household stuff pretty useful.Overall for the money a decent lightweight tool for a bit of household plumbing and light machinery work.
